F-22 Raptor vs 12 Buck Science Project
Flopping Aces ^ | 02-19-23 | Larry Brandes

A deadly air battle took place over Alaska on February 10th.  That historical event was part of Biden's new, improved strategy to shoot down everything flying over America.  Apparently, Biden is still embarrassed that citizens actually noticed a Chinese spy balloon floating "across 2,000 miles of American airspace untouched." Oops. We weren't supposed to find out-but we did and now the White House has declared zero tolerance for anything flying.

On February 10, 2023, a UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) was spotted flying at 38,910 feet over Alaska.  A USAF, F-22 was scrambled to intercept and destroy said target. The pilot of the F-22, Captain Flintstone (call sign Bam Bam) was agitated, nervous, and stressed because he placed a “sure thing” bet of 10 grand on the Philadelphia Eagles to win the Super Bowl on February 12th.  Unfortunately, he neglected to tell his wife about the wager or the fact that he borrowed $$$ from their daughter's college fund.

Bam Bam, flying at Mach 5, identified the UFO as some kind of balloon with the lettering LETS GO BRANDON! on the side.  Ground control immediately ordered the target destroyed with extreme prejudice.

Bam Bam muttered to himself:  "5th gen fighter vs a 14th-century balloon-it's a dog fight!"

Bam Bam quickly fired a $400,000 AIM-9X Sidewinder missile at the balloon.....and....wait for it....completely missed the target.  The synthetic neoprene construction of the balloon confused the missile tracking system.  The balloon smiled and drifted away.  Bam Bam launched another missile and finally destroyed the target.

The "wrong way" gang in the White House declared "Mission Accomplished" and planned a ceremony in the rose garden to honor Bam Bam for heroically repelling an airborne invasion comparable to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.  Someone had to remind the president that it was the middle of winter and the roses in the garden (like his re-election campaign) were dead.

Is that the real cost? Seems quite cheap.

Raytheon doesn't get out of bed in the AM for <$1 million

It was a deadly encounter, but Xao Bi-Dung won in a 2-1 decision with the US judge being the dissenting vote.

Anybody believe we have missiles that can hit a balloon? Nope. We merely did stuff to show our capabilities to china.

The government doesn’t buy them one at a time. Probably orders 10,000 at a shot.

This could be a larger plan by China.

In a dozen false alarms one will be the real one to shut down communications at a missile site or spray a new bioweapon.

Why are toy and replica guns banned? Because they cannot be quickly distinguished from real guns by citizens or police.

Then the slimy, creepy defense lawyers say “So you arrested the defendant for a children’s toy?” or if kept his hand in pocket “So you at no time actually saw his gun so maybe he never really had a gun.”
Next arrest: Suspect shot two officers, a woman and a child.
Third officer said he thought the item was a toy but it was disguised with day-glo paint stripes and was real.”

We had missiles that could hit an 8 inch target from 65 miles away since the 1970’s.

A balloon in the sky? What’s the trigger to set it off? How does it lock on?

I will try to help you. Missiles can be triggered by global position, or proximity. Probably more ways now. The size of target is not important. High in the air, or on the ground doesn’t matter.

How does it lock on to a floating object drifting in the atmosphere with no heat signature. I’m not talking China balloon, but hobbyists type.

If i pointed my radar (vintage 1975 type tracking radar) i would get a return of energy. I could track that object, fire a missile and detonate said missile when it was near. That was 1970’s tech.

Now I know, thanks. I just assumed we used unreported tech like mounted laser or such to prove a point to china.

So they technology i am talking about is very old school. I left active duty in 1980. Much has improved since.
