For some reason, the left loves a good rousing round of glorifying childlessness and living a life of pure self-absorption. Interestingly, the older a woman on the left gets, the more outward she is about her love of not having any children.
Chelsea Handler, who I’m told is a comedian, decided to put out a short skit about her childless life of wonder and ease. The 47-year-old leftist paired up with The Daily Show to show off how she wakes up lazily in the morning, gets high and masturbates (she even flashes her vibrator for good measure), then sleeps for several more hours. This is before she puts on good-looking and expensive clothes before her video dives into silliness such as flying to Paris for a croissant, teleporting back home, then having sex with random men.
The entire skit is supposed to be a knock on women who have kids. Handler, like many women who chose childlessness for selfish pursuits, is probably getting dosed with pictures of her friends and family having moments with their children. She’s consistently hearing about how having children makes life far more fulfilling and it’s not actually sitting well with her.

This shows how we cannot believe a lot that we are told; I am assuming that she is supposed to be funny. She IS a one-note performer, and that one note is between her legs. Same with Sarah Silverman and Amy Schumer and many others.
I’m glad she’s childless, now if she would stop being childish.
She’s an alcoholic and a slut. A lot of comedians are depressed and their comedy is the coping mechanism.
A dead branch on her family tree. Lucky us.
She sounds empty.
I know multiple women that are good in comedic roles, but zero stand up by women is funny to me.
My favorites are Bill Burr, Chappelle, Carlin, Bill Hicks, Brian Regan, etc.
No chicks.
Madeleine Kahn was fun in movies, Gilda, the Bridesmaids flick, Melissa McCarthy and some others…
Ellen Degeneres was actually quite hilarious until she came “out” then she just turned into a scold.
People don’t bother to think or talk about things that don’t matter to them.
The fact that this is a constant theme of her “comedy” shows it is, in fact, a hole in her life.
Sounds like a life without substance and bereft of meaning. That’s why rich people often commit suicide; there’s no heart felt joy in limitless self-indulgence. Not only do they become bored, but eventually they realize they are worthless as human beings, and there’s nothing left.
Even Amy Schumer has written some funny skits. I’ll go so far as to say that Samantha Bee was funny in a limited role on the Daily Show. Zero stand up. Nearly all of it is cringe.
I didn’t find her funny. Same for Paula Poundstone…
It might just be my sense of humor.
Plenty are good in comedic roles though.

She’s 47?? I would have believed 57. Rode hard and put away wet.
I know very few people who are childless who don’t have at least some regrets about it. Its a legitimate choice - no one says you have to have children. But it has an incredible cost. Handler makes jokes about it. I agree that her “comedy” on this subject reeks of defensiveness and sadness.
The only woman who has really ever made me laugh doing stand-up is Leanne Morgan. Look up her bit about “When you go to concerts with old people” on YouTube.
She’ll be an old lonely woman who will turn to younger dudes to affirm herself. They’ll have to get past the cats though.
Comedians forget how to be funny and just get boring.
