Tuesday's Morning Joe predictably jumped on the mass shooting at Michigan State to denounce Republicans. Among many such condemnations during the segment, Joe Scarborough said, "there's no other way to put it. It's the Republican party that's allowing this to continue to happen."
Beyond that, there was a moment of either utter obtuseness, or shameless hypocrisy, on Scarborough's part when he said:
"It's this fetishness that's grown over the past 25 years about all rights, no responsibilities. And I need the most extreme version of whatever right you're handing out, unless, of course, it has to do with a woman's body or a woman's health. And I have no responsibility to act in any responsible way. And that's what the Republican party has become."
Fetishness over the most extreme version of rights, Joe? You mean, like the opposition of the Democrat party to any limitations on abortion whatsoever, up to the moment of birth. Or even beyond birth, as in the refusal of Barack Obama, as a state legislator, to support a bill requiring medical aid be given to children surviving an abortion?

Democrats support abortion absolutely without restriction up to, and for some of them beyond, birth.
But Scarborough says it’s the Republicans who are the extremists and fetishists on guns?
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
Wait, is this the guy that left his family for that DC harlot? The one with the dead naked intern?
Scarborough is a shameless hypocrite about everything not just on gun/abortion-rights ‘fetishness’
“It has to do with a woman’s body or a woman’s health”
That’s what abortion is about?
Sorry
Abortion has to do with the deliberate killing of a human being, according to the vast majority of scientists. A defenseless and innocent huamn being..
So what Joe and his corprate sponsors are telling us this:
Avoiding one human beoing’s temporary loss of control over her own body justifies her killing a defenseless innocent huamn being.
Banjo Boy is off his meds again.
Biden/Obozo/Pelosi and Joe believe in killing Americans in the womb and after birth; it won’t be long and the State can make a determination of killing you whenever the State wants.
Sez Joe, the Baby Killer.
More like the intern killer.
And there are MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS of semiautomatic rifles that have the same "casualty count" as mine: ZERO.
Mika’s whore ranting about women’s bodily autonomy ... how much did he respect Lori Klausitis’s bodily autonomy?
Gee Joe, there was a time in which high school students brought their guns to school in order to go hunting before or after classes and that was accompanied with no violent incidents whatsoever. Seems that the Dem/Hollywood media complex are far more complicit with these tragedies continuing to happen as opposed to the Republicans.
Somebody puts a camera on his face and everybody has to react. Pathetic.
What an Aspenhole! Black man travels to a university he has no connection to and shoots and kills perfect strangers. So yeah it’s the gun!!!
I wonder just what can color victims he chose to celebrate Black history month?
Scarborough and Mika just yell whatever their Communist producers at MSNBC tell them to yell.
What does Lori say?
If there were not publications quoting him, this idiot’s ramblings would not be know of outside the circle of his 48 viewers.
Stop talking about these people (Scarborough). Nobody watches them.
FReepers often make comments to the effect that Morning Joe has a minute audience.
It’s true that Fox & Friends has much better ratings. But Morning Joe does average close to 1 million daily viewers, including a lot of politicians and other media types. Donald Trump was, and perhaps is, a frequent viewer.
