I had a similar feeling. These kids are experiments not patients. It sounds like a crockpot fad that has overtaken “medicine.” There has been many over years, particularly where psychology is concerned.

This also reminds me of the mess that was the “recovered memories” fad back in the eighties that tore apart families and lead to bogus criminal cases or even the Tuskegee experiments for the lack of concern for the patients.

There’s an agenda now, it’s moved from science to civil rights. These professionals have crossed over into feeling a moral obligation to proceed based on activist’s agendas. Therapy isn’t a hard science and we all know social contagions happen.

This feels like it’s going to be one of those situations where a future president and professional organizations will apologize to a generation for allowing this to get out of hand.

Sigmund Freud: The “devouring mother” is co-dependent and “consumes” her children, particularly her sons, emotionally and psychologically. She seeks fulfillment through her children because the feminine mystique has convinced her that her identity is inseparable from her roles as wife and mother.

The number of kids suffering from actual gender disphoryria is miniscule: 1 in 3k; more than one in a family [or a classroom, or a school] is a statistical impossibility.

The kids dressed up as ‘trans’ are actually victims of their mothers - their devouring mothers. They maintain their identity as a ‘mother’ by thwarting the sexual maturation of their kids - to keep them the sexual equivalent of infants despite their grown bodies. It is child abuse.

Until late 2022, I was a member of a health system board in my home state (starts with a W.). They are a rural system serving the northern and central state. I learned late last year they had a gender transition group that provided many but not all (they don’t perform the radical breast removal, male genital removal and other type of procedures, but administer the chemical procedures) of the services described in this article. The program serves both adults and minors. Can’t really stop the adult part, they after all, get to make their own decisions.

But the organization we also providing services to minors. The reason I resigned from the board was that management (heck, the chief medical officer wasn’t even aware they were doing this stuff), endocrinologists and psychiatrists at the organization were doing this without having ever informing the board of directors. When I confronted the board chair, I informed that person that I needed to resign for ethical and moral reasons, that I felt this had been withheld from we members of the board. I offered to send a letter of resignation to the board chair and fellow board members. I was told I should instead simply say I resigned for personal reasons. I told the board chair I could not do that, but would not go out of my way to tell fellow board members. Yet if they asked, I told the board chair I would tell them and have done so with at least two members. There’s a lot more to this mess, but I’ll leave it at that. Those of you from my state can certainly figure out what organization I am referring to.

The center’s working assumption was that the earlier you treat kids with gender dysphoria, the more anguish you can prevent later on.

This is the exact opposite of the truth. The earlier you start the indoctrination, the more damage will be done and could become irreversible.

Absolute pure evil described here. These “Transition Clinics” should be summarily shut down. This shouldn’t even be permitted for adults. This is unethical, repulsive, sadistic and an egregious violation of the Hippocratic Oath. More politics (of the Satanic P.C. leftist sort) instead of real science and civilized conduct you expect from medical professionals.

"The Tobacco Gender Care Master Settlement Agreement Master Settlement Agreement (GCSA) was entered on November 23, 1998 2023, originally between the four largest United States gender care companies [Planned Parenthood (PP), the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH)] – the "original participating manufacturers", referred to as the "Majors") and the attorneys general of 46 states. The states settled their lawsuits against the gender care industry for recovery of their gender-related health-care costs.

In exchange, the companies agreed to curtail or cease certain tobacco gender care marketing practices, as well as to pay, in perpetuity, various annual payments to the states to compensate them for some of the medical costs of caring for persons with gender care-related illnesses.
