All wild cats are majestic creatures that some of us wish to keep as pets. If you come face to face with their cubs, you wouldn't want them to grow into wild cats that can kill you. Needless to say, cubs are cutie pies and the teeny tiny versions of our wild friends! Sometimes we just want to look at pictures of adorable cubs in a futile but fun effort to identify the cutest.

AOC has not had cubs yet, but I bet they will be both cute and deadly.

Me too.
If I could have one cat it would be a cheetah.
And it would be a much better life for the cheetah as well.
All the other cats are beautiful but they would be waiting for a chance to eat me.
I find that off putting in a pet. :)

I think some Cheetahs were pets for Egyptian royalty.

And India and Ethiopia.
Bunch of cultures kept them as pets.
Since they are so easily tamable and so odd genetically I have often thought that they are not wild but feral. Domesticated animals from some lost civilization.
No I have no proof and no idea what civilization it could have been but they are a really odd breed of cat. So floofy. And they purr.
Petting a cheetah and having it purr is pretty amazing.

If you ever get to Kenya they have a couple of big cat rehab places. I had a friend who had a friend who worked there and he had a cheetah that, because of her injuries, would never be able to be returned to the wild. So he made a pet of her.
Petting her was not the biggest highlight of my time there but it was in the top ten. :)

I had a co worker who would bring albino tigers and ocelots to Friday after work keg parties back in 1999 but then one day someone stupid .indian brought their little children and the tiger cubs wanted to play.
They banned the big sweet kitties.
