Attorneys for Tyre Nichols' family suggested a white cop involved in the victim's arrest got special treatment.
Officer Preston Hemphill was placed on paid leave in connection to the fatal beating of Nichols.
"Why is his identity and the role he played in Tyre's death just now coming to light?" the lawyers asked.
Attorneys for the family of Tyre Nichols — the Black man who died after being beaten by police officers in Memphis, Tennessee, earlier this month — suggested on Monday that the only known white officer involved in the victim's arrest was getting special treatment.
The Memphis Police Department confirmed that officer Preston Hemphill, who is white, was "relieved of duty" and put on paid administrative leave "pending the outcome of the investigation."

There are suggestions that Tyre was robbing honey from one of the officers' bee hives.
Not sure he'd be alive if that was the case.

The five black cops viciously beat, kicked, and basically tortured Tyre to death.
It’s just a matter of time before Hemphill is charged. And when it’s all said and done, who do you think is going to get the longer sentence?

I did see a white guy off to the side by where the camera pole was, (and mentioned it before), but he walked off to the side. Says “relieved of duty”. Whatever that means, but he wasn’t part of the beatdown.

that was the white EMT that got fired today..the white cop never went to the second scene...but, on his own body cam, after Einstein took off running, he does say “i hope they stomp him”...says it twice. Thats gotta be a capital murder charge right there, right??....thats gotta be super-duper depraved hate speech of some kind....
I saw a black female Harvard law professor on the TODAY Show, years ago. She said “posta” instead of “supposed to.”
I thought it was this white guy fired who looks totally different, who got fired along with two other black EMTs.

The beating at the pole should be first degree murder. Three or four held him up while one beat him multiple times from behind.

IMO Ben Crump is the Black Hitler. When I told my wife she said that sounded about right.
Just wondering if those cops were/or will drug tested. Not that that would be an excuse. They were so amped up and merciless.
