Willis said Tuesday that "decisions are imminent" in the case.
Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis suggested in a Tuesday afternoon court hearing that she could seek indictments in connection to a special purpose grand jury’s investigation into possible criminal interference in the state’s 2020 election.
During the court hearing, Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney heard arguments in relation to potentially releasing the special grand jury’s investigative report, to which Willis said that the report’s release could impact her cases, therefore it shouldn’t be released, according to WSB-TV. The brief notes that the investigation "has been one of enormous public interest not just to Georgians, but also to citizens throughout the US," and says that the variety of media organizations filing the brief "reflect the profound public interest in this issue," according to WSB-TV.
"The Georgia Supreme Court has explicitly stated that it would ‘decline to extend the requirement of secrecy applicable to grand jury proceedings beyond that which is currently imposed by statute.’ Olsen, 302 Ga. at 291. There is no basis to do so here. The Media 19 Intervenors respectfully request that the Report be publicly filed and published as the special purpose grand jurors have requested."
Willis argued on Tuesday that "The state understands the media’s inquiry and the world’s interest. But we have to be mindful of protecting future defendants’ rights. If that report was released, there somehow could be arguments made that it impacts the right for later individuals, multiple, to get a fair trial."
The attorney representing the media outlets, Tom Clyde, argued that only the DA’s Office was arguing in the hearing to keep this report sealed. He also noted that the special grand jurors specifically asked the judge to release their investigation.

You can edict a ham sammich......good luck with that 👍
100% right. Any partisan hack AG can indict anyone. Indictment is NOT proof of crime.
Show your cards- FEMALE DOG!
It would probably be a near all-black jury. How is that working out for the J6er’s in DC?
Amendment I
“...petition the government for a redress of grievances.”
“Don’t interfere with our fraudulent elections!”
Trump asked Georgia to find some votes. I think they are now looking for 12 votes.
“Paragraph IX. Right to assemble and petition. The people have the right to assemble peaceably for their common good and to apply by petition or remonstrance to those vested with the powers of government for redress of grievances.”

bttt
When are the real GOP district attorneys going to start investigating democrats and make it illegal to be a democrat...like the uniparty has done to make it illegal to be MAGA?
I mean surely Hunter can be arrested. I know there is a district attorney somewhere that can charge him for a crime. And also charge judges and their families for crimes if they protected election fraud. Just make up the charges. While they are being charged they won’t be able to work and they’ll have to waste money defending against the charges. This is war. If we don’t do it this way, eventually we’ll need a real war and that is a lot worse.
Conservatives need to get off their moral high horse and fight back.
This is absolute nonsense from the Post Millennial as there is no way a former president can be indicted and especially not by a local district attorney.
'Cause it always seems to blow up in their face.
“Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!”
Ruby Freeman should be indicted:

CAUGHT: Surveillance footage shows GA poll worker scanning the same batch of ballots MULTIPLE times!
She just received a medal from Biden...
The walls are closing in.
Fulton county is election fraud central.

I agree that the decision that nothing illegal happened during the phone call between Trump and his team of lawyers and the governor of Georgia is imminent.
And once again the left will cry
