The Darien Gap Invasion Route
My Darien Gap Panama Field Trip ^

Look for news coming out about the Darien Gap mass migration-migration route through Panama. I was just down there for two weeks with some really fine men, and it was quite eye-opening and informative. The others are still down there on their mission, so I can't provide a lot of details at this point. Ben Berquam, Oscar Blue and Michael Yon will be on Bannon War Room when they are available to make reports.

This is what the coast looks like a few miles from a trailhead to the Darien Gap that the migrants are using. Not a house for miles. As beautiful as Hawaii or Tahiti I think. Waves that have never been ridden, waterfalls no gringo has ever seen. That log on the beach is typical of the tropical rainforest trees. Up front is reporter Ben Bergquam. Behind is Matt T. aka Mateo # Uno. Their mission is ongoing so no details at this time. More information coming.

So basically it's a tropical vacation with some healthy cardio and excercise. At the end of the yellow brick road is a President with open arms with the American taxpayers taking on the financial burden for health care, schooling, crime, food, housing and overdose deaths etc.

Typical terrain in Darien.
This is not a migrant trail. Slippery random roots and rocks are the "steps." Path roughly follows the stream on the left.

No, the walking part through the Darien Gap is NOT a walk in the park. Probably 2-5% of the migrant trekkers die or are killed along the way, but since it's not being reported, nobody knows exactly how many.
What we see coming out of the Darien jungle are the survivors.

That’s a great spot for a few hotels and golf courses.
LOL.

That’s a great spot for a few hotels and golf courses.Yep, and the migrants could remain there and get plentiful jobs.

Cessna Grand Caravan, from Panama City east to our base of operations in Puerto X and back. This plane is basically an 11-seat single-engine C-130 Hercules. Short rough fields and mountain flying are its forte. We flew at 7,500' and 130mph.
This is the only way in and out of Puerto X, for 11 Pax, only 3X a week. There are no roads in 40 miles, but plenty of 6,000' high jungle-covered mountains. Other than this airplane, the only way to get around is in a "lancha rapida," typically a 25 foot long narrow "panga" with a 60 or so HP outboard motor, coast hopping on the windy and wavy open Caribbean.

Had thought no migrants were passing on foot through Darien due to the terrain and the certainty of attack by local thugs.
Surprised, obviously, to realize that this is no longer an impenetrable barrier to “on foot” migration from South America but it explains certain recent patterns in terms of the ethnic mix of foreigners that are ending up in the U.S.

Just trash. All these trails have trash all over. When folks finish a standard plastic water bottle or can, or anything else, they just toss it along the side of the trail.

Anybody who can fly to Ecuador, where no entry visa is required, can take a bus to Necocli Colombia, then a boat to Capurgana Colombia, but then they have to walk. See map above.
If they can afford it, they can coast-hop in the wind and waves way further west along the Panamanian coast in open boats like these, to shorten their brutal Darien Gap overland trek. Plan to get soaking wet. This is how we visited Kuna Indian villages west of Puerto X.
"Lanchas Rapidas" exactly like these are used for smuggling drugs, cigarettes, booze, local people or migrants, for anybody with cash in hand.
There are 100s of them, uncountable and unaccountable.

Fantastic, Matt! I watch Bannon’s War Room regularly. Ben Berquam, Oscar Blue and Michael Yon are doing an amazing job doing what the MSM and other “conservative” media refuse to do.
If people aren’t watching Bannon they are missing a lot of great news and information.
Thanks so much for going down there. Looking forward to any additional info you will be providing to us on FR and at WRSA.
(I probably should check WRSA to see what you may have posted there.)

There is also a Corvair (or rather the shell of one) from when someone trekked through in the 1960s. While no roads, it is hard to imagine there is not a pretty decent trail after a couple of years of this going on. On the other hand, the jungle can and will take back over after a few weeks.
