Where was General Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs on this? Did he advise against the policy or was he cheering it on? How about Lloyd Austin, Secretary of Defense?
Another year of the Ukraine war and the US military will be effectively disarmed, with the possible exception of the nuclear arsenal.

Would it need to be sabotaged? What level of maintenance can any of those countries afford, and why would Ukraine want sketchy old weapons when the US will give those countries who aren’t in dire need newer ones?
