Full disclosure, my very first rock concert was Rod Stewart and Faces.. it was their last tour together in 1974... Ronnie Wood had already signed up with the Stones and recorded ‘Black and Blue with them... Hughes Stadium. Sacramento.

His Forever Young song is one of the best in Rock and Roll.
I got free tickets to his concert about three years ago. I probably wouldn’t have paid to see him, but his show was entertaining and apolitical (unlike Cyndi Lauper who was touring with him).

I liked Lauper’s songs...especially ‘She’s So Unusual..’ she does tend to be political. They are sort of an odd couple to be touring together.
Three favorite albums: A Nod is as Good as a Wink (Faces), Every Picture Tells a Story, and Gasoline Alley. Classic British Rock, with some folk mixed in. Beautiful music, and it transports me to a world long, long since passed.

Yep.. those three are classic... I also liked ‘Atlantic Crossing...’’Sing it Again Rod’ was a good compilation album.

My Husband loves him.I tried to get tickets for a concert for a Christmas present but he was on the west coast for 6 months and so I got Carrie Underwood,his girlfriend.Our 3 daughters are going with him so it should be fun.
