I remember when supporting Israel was the liberal thing to do. Remember Herbert Block, alias Herblock? His cartoons were both liberal and pro-Israel. He even managed to draw Menachem Begin in a way that made him look better than he did in real life. Nowadays supporting Israel is the conservative thing to do. The Jewish student center at the University of Kentucky is run by Chabad, an Orthodox sect. I like them; at least they are conservative.
