Trump’s former chief advisor Steve Bannon has just advocated for President Trump to be the new House Speaker.
During his latest airing of the War Room, Bannon called for President Trump to be the New House Speaker for 100 days.
Bannon stated Trump needs to be House Speaker in order to save America.

I remember when Newt was legit, and the contract with America almost looked like it could have got a balanced budget amendment (alas the forces of evil and money were too strong), but the swamp as it always does, wore him down. Eventually he was virtually indistinguishable from all the others
The way he's slobbering all over McCarthy now reveals he has become the swamp establishment. It sucks them all in after a few years....term limits would help.

I love the thought but what is sad is that we are looking for a savior to lead a corrupt party with members that will most likely join with democrats to take him down. Until the Americans who vote for republican start demanding a strict moral code for their party, appointing and one person to that position will be futile. Too many servants of Satan in the GOP.
Bannon is just spewing more hot air...it’s how he makes a living. Bannons’s 10 minutes of relevance is over...in my opinion.
Just the signposts of a dying, corrupted party. Trump can’t save it either.

Since when is actually trying to reign in some of the power abuses that occur in Congress is “mucking it up”..??
I’d like another 180 mucker-uppers in Congress if we can get things done that are for the good of the country. Everybody is always complaining about Congress yet when some members try to do something about the structure of it everybody gets all twisted up about it.
I don’t care if they have to vote 40 times...the world is not ending despite all of the hand wringing we see and hear.
A speakership is a job for someone who knows the details of how Congress works, who can get into the nitty gritty, and do the work to align Reps for a vote. It doesn’t seem like a job Trump would want or excel at.
