The Morning Briefing: Kari Lake's Lawsuit Is Looking Anything but 'Frivolous' Now
PJ Media ^ | 6:25 AM on December 23, 2022 | Stephen Kruiser

Happy Friday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. Craydon was growing weary of answering questions about his tunic every time he went to the skate park.

While much of the country is in full holiday “wait until next year” mode, Kari Lake is spending her run-up to Christmas weekend using the legal system to get some answers about what went wrong in Maricopa County on election day. Last week, I wrote of my admiration for Lake’s unwillingness to roll over and play dead for the Democrats and their flying monkeys in the mainstream media.

The lawsuit brought by Lake’s legal team was originally dismissed as “frivolous” by an Obama hack judge. A new judge took it more seriously and some weirdness is being unearthed now.

Matt has been doing excellent work covering this for us and here is his latest update:

As PJ Media previously reported, Kari Lake’s legal team was granted the opportunity to inspect ballots prior to trial, and based on their review of a random selection of ballots, “48 of 113 ballots reviewed … were 19-inch ballots produced on 20-inch paper.”

According to Kari Lake’s team, this one-inch discrepancy caused “the mass rejection of these votes as they were attempted to be read through the tabulators.”

An expert confirmed this.

Once more, with feeling: Maricopa County is where the bulk of the Republican votes are here in Arizona, and Republicans are known for preferring Election Day voting to early voting. We were originally told that the sudden rash of Election Day problems with the ballot tabulation machines was a fluke. All of the machines had been working fine when they were tested, the story went.

Under the statute she sued under, there is no element of intent required to be proven. However, it does say that you have to prove that you got more legal votes than the so-called elected person. If you do that, then you are declared the winner and the cert of the so-called elected person is nullified. A 2 day trial is nowhere near long enough to show that in her circumstance. She did show that a large number of ballots had no chain of custody, and that a significant percentage of ballots were printed in the wrong size on the official ballot paper which cause the machines to not be able to read them. She should have moved vociferously for a wider inspection of ballots to identify all of the size compromised ballots and permission to count them.

So, there is no remedy for proven cheating?

I just cannot believe that. I have heard of courts rendering elections void or ordering a new election. Just one judge doing something at this level might make the cheating Dems think twice before doing it again.

I’m trying to imagine after all this, Hobbs going on TV and declaring she is the governor. I’d guess 75 percent of Arizona aren’t buying any of it. This is the candidate who refused to debate her opponent and hid in her basement like Biden. Then came the Maricopa County election dumpster fire.

Hobbs winning this was as likely as me juggling flaming chainsaws while riding a unicycle on ice.

There is yuge difference between proving election fraud in ONE district, Maricop county, versus election fraud in every swing state in the country.

Kudos to Kari Lake for exposing how the ballots were purposely printed wrong and a slew of machines were all mal-functioning on election day. Even if the suit is dismissed, exposure of methods used to commit election fraud is very worthwhile effort.

You don't have to prove it.

You just have to prove there were enough questionable events to warrant an investigation and that the officials who failed to investigate violated their oaths of office to support and defend the US Constitution.

“but PROVING that is nearly impossible”

No, they proved it by the fact that it COULD ONLY HAVE BEEN INTENTIONAL.

Gvmt lawyers tried to get the witness to admit that “fit to page” setting was the cause.

NOT POSSIBLE! Fit to page would be the opposite of what occurred. They were programmed, protected, tested, yet on the day of election a very large percentage of them “mysteriously” malfunctioned in the exact same way.

I think we are past the time to ask all Christians to pray without ceasing that God would remove the bad characters from the face of the earth. As always, only if it is Gods will. That they are allowing the murder of innocent children would be enough in my book. Am I bad for wishing all the main players such as Pelosi, Schumer, McConnell, ect be removed by God (not me). I know they will eventually die and then face judgment, but it would be better if sooner than later. Again, I am not interested in harming them. Gods will be done.

Why is the result not proving the intent?

It wasn’t the paper size...it was the size of the image printed on the paper.
