Biden's pushing to force the Granbury, Texas, school district to make the book available at its library to children. This is part of the recruiting effort -- grooming -- by the LGBT wing of the Democrat Party.
The campaign began with the American Library Association selecting this obscure comic book (marketed as a graphic novel because its paper quality is better than most comic books) as the library association's book of the year in 2020.
This allows liberals to parade the book around as if it were great literature. These are the same liberals who have tried to ban Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer. The left praised To Kill a Mockingbird for 60 years and rightly so. Now it is considered racist.
The battle to force schools make Gender Queer available and it is loony but effective. The next Republican president (if we ever have one) should require school libraries to carry the Bible just for spite, although that probably is not the Christian thing to do. AP reported, "The removal of LGBTQ-themed books from the library of the Granbury, Texas, school district is under investigation by the U.S. Department of Education’s civil rights division.
"'The Office for Civil Rights can confirm that there is an open investigation into Granbury ISD under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972,' according to a statement Tuesday from the Education Department. 'We do not comment on pending investigations.'"
No federal agency comments on pending investigations They just leak it to gullible reporters who tell only the fed side of the story.
AP complied. Its 592-word story had no comment from the school district or from anyone who criticized making child porn available to children.
Instead AP said, "Title IX has prohibitions against discriminating on the basis of sex, gender and sexual orientation."
Just what that had to do with keeping a porn book on the library shelves was not explained.
AP said, "The investigation, first reported by NBC News, ProPublica and the Texas Tribune, follows a complaint by the American Civil Liberties Union. It appears to be the first based on a nationwide movement pushed by conservatives to ban school library books dealing with sexuality and gender."
The Associated Press contacted none of those groups. Instead, it allowed the ACLU to comment unchallenged.
To me, that is real censorship because it does not allow the groups to comment ion the charges of censorship.
Just the News was able to get the school district's side of the story in.
JTN reported, "Leaked audio material from a meeting with district Superintendent Jeremy Glenn appeared to reveal him saying, 'I acknowledge that there are men that think they're women and there are women that think they're men. I don't have any issues with what people want to believe, but there's no place for it in our libraries.'"
I agree.
Biden doesn’t give a rat’s behind about any of this. The radicals that are running the country do care about this, and will delight in corrupting our youth.

Another Reason to Homeschool

No one should have to homeschool. The public schools belong to and are paid for by the public, hence the name public schools. They must be reclaimed by the public by whatever means necessary.
Neither Biden not anyone else in Washington should have a say in something like this. The problem rests in the Department of Education and all federal legislation that that imposes federal will on schools. Get rid of all of that and return authority over education to the states. One of the scummiest parts of the swamp gets drained.
Does the president of the United States (whoever he or she may be) have the authority to make *anything* “required reading”?

Those that are making the Biden administration’s policies are not letting him know what they are doing in his name. Of course, he and his family are getting paid big bucks for him to be unaware of what they are doing. Dr. Jill certainly knows.
They didn’t expect so many parents to push back during the pandemic when kids were sent home to learn on computer modules, and parents found out what their children’s lessons contained. That was the first major wave of parents pulling their kids out of public school. Most have not returned.
The left sees no value in children but most parents do. Therefore the leftists do not realize that at some point it will “tip” and many parents will just think “to heck with it. I may not be able to home-school and teach my children much, but little Johnny can ride in the truck with me and learn a lot about daily life and the trucking-trade”. That’s when the public education scam will fail. Of course, that’s about the time the rest of the dominoes will fall as well and Johnny will be working his butt off helping his dad put food on the table for the family. Hard times make strong men!
They do it by proxy.
The state legislatures will do it, or lose all FEDERAL FUNDS TO THEIR STATE.............................
It’s all designed to first replace, then outlaw, the Bible in our libraries. I hope to never see the day, but have no doubt it will come.

Correct! With universal education vouchers parents would have the option to institutionalize their child for his or her education in a private school.
