Difference is Reagan was “conservative” and as i’ve been saying for literally years around here, DJT is not Conservative, he’s a Populist.
I personally don’t care about Trump’s calls for gun control, it’s to be expected just like his vax shilling. He’s not conservative.But Reagan as a “Conservative” should never have called for them, and people around here either forget or ignore he did.

Trump’s biggest mistake was having Sessions as AG. His inaction opened the door for everything. That mistake may yet prove to be unrecoverable.

I think the cards are a lot more benign.

It is based on threads and posts I’ve been reading. A large part of FR is no longer among the “Trump Is Always right” crowd. Heck, my wife put her “Trump 2024” hat away today. For good.
Nothing conclusive then? Just an opinion, more or less?
