On the IL GOP website under, “Who We Are,” it says,
“Our party welcomes individuals who share our common beliefs while having deeply held, yet differing views. Diversity brings strength. We commit to resolve our differences with civility, trust, and mutual respect.”
But during Saturday’s GOP state central committee meeting (SSC), these beliefs were thrown out the window as the GOP establishment belittled, humiliated, and even tried to silence many in the crowd of the more than 200 conservative grassroots activists who descended upon the Bolingbrook Golf Club so their voices could be heard.

Where I used to live, I was a Town Meeting member for many years. I wish we had that rule when attending Town Meeting.
It is frustrating and useless for someone to get up and bloviate while repeating what other(s) have said previously. And then have the gall to state, " I urge you to support this Article."
Eff’n RINOs and leftists say crap like that. We are Americans. That’s enough diversity for me. You have to understand that people spend a lot of time coming up with content on websites and things like vision statements. Who’s mind full of mush came up with that crap? Their is nothing inspiring about it. It doesn’t invoke any common goal or action. All it does is attract a bunch of snowflakes that couldn’t fight their way out of wet paper bags. The GOP can go to hell.

This illustrates why conservative Republicans need to become members of the County Committees so they are the representatives at the State Committee Meetings.
The Illinois GOP so called Leaders Hate the Grassroots. They have made that VERY CLEAR.
I couldn’t agree with you more. They are just as elitist as the liberals in their own way.
The GOP is the epitome of an abusive spouse/significant other. They love you when they want your vote and $ and then once that is given you get the back of the hand or closed fist and are told to shut the hell up, you caused me to do this, you are stupid!
