Fox News host Tucker Carlson compared Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy to 20th-century Russian Communist dictator Vladimir Lenin following reports of the Ukrainian government banning a branch of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which has included the execution of military raids into churches, monasteries, and convents.
Criticizing CNN and the Los Angeles Times for earlier comparisons of Zelenskyy to George Washington, Carlson proposed, “Whatever you think of the war in Ukraine, it is pretty clear that Zelenskyy has no interest in freedom and democracy. In fact, Zelenskyy is far closer to Lenin than to George Washington. He is a dictator. He is a dangerous authoritarian who has used a hundred billion in U.S. tax dollars to erect a one-party police state in Ukraine. And that’s not an overstatement.”
“Over the past two years, Zelenskyy has banned opposition parties. He’s shut down critical media by force. He’s arrested his political opponents. He has sent soldiers into churches,” Carlson continued.

Zelenskyy is no good, and is not worthy of our support. But to complete the picture, Putin is also no good. And it was Putin who sent tanks rolling across a sovereign border.
Bottom line: Zelenskyy is bad, and Putin is worse. Let Europe sort it all out.

Churches were closed by the government. Priests were forced out of the country and their property seized. Finally the church was forced to break all ties to Britain and became the independent Episcopal Church.
In this case Zelensky is doing exactly what Washington did.
Are these churches providing aid and comfort to the invading force?
If so, Zelensky is exercising his only option.
We have a president here who also has a sick view of his church......wanting to force Catholic hospitals to perform tranny surgeries.

Zelensky is a conman and fraud. It’s long past time that we pull that parasite out of our system.
Well this time it wasn’t Christians being killed.
But Russian soldiers invading another country using a church as a weapon to kill more Ukrainians. Those Russian soldiers overtook that church. Ukraine responded. It’s fair and normal.
