A court case has developed in Missouri that raises the question of whether county officials are allowed to retaliate against the parents of a victim of abuse by one of its own employees.
The situation is that a 15-year-old boy was sexually abused by a deputy in Scott County, Missouri.
The parents threatened to sue the county because it allowed the deputy, who had been disciplined in previous employment situations, to have a job, and the authority of a deputy, in the county.
According to a report from the Institute for Justice, which is working on the case on behalf of the family, “Then, a few weeks later, the family heard a knock at their front door and found a juvenile officer and two highway patrol troopers accompanying a child-welfare investigator from the Scott County Children’s Division. The child-welfare investigator informed the parents that they were being formally investigated for child neglect, claiming that an anonymous source called the state’s child abuse tipline and reported the family.”

CPS are human traffickers with government sponsorship.
Yes and it has been happening for a long time.
I support the police but they have issues that need addressing.
The police often know who the bad players are and they need to stand against the wrong by doing what’s right.
Bullying.
Like when the videos were done proving the Planned Parenthood doctor wanted illegal harvesting of babies’ organs to be sold for more money because “I want my Lamborghini.” Authorities sprang into action and investigated the Project Veritas man who took the videos.
“...claiming that an anonymous source called the state’s child abuse tipline and reported the family.”
So there is no grounds for reasonable suspicion or probable cause. Sue them for 4th amendment violations as well.
So no specifics?
Like maybe a hot female deputy "abused" him?
And the poor little tot will be bragging about it for the rest of his life?
Maybe "abuse" like that?
Who knows without specifics.
Ridiculous. This makes almost every parent 'complicit'.
Way to go Humblegunner. Keep agitating on behalf of abusive government. Don't you have a blogger to abuse?
4th Amendment does not apply to CPS.
They can investigate you and take your children based on the word of people you will never be able to confront, question or have any chance to refute.
They can take your child and put them in a foster home with a pedophile and there is nothing you can do about it.
Welcome to INGSOC, better learn to love Big Brother.
What is it with you and child rape?
Why do you keep condoning it and acting like it is some sort of fantasy?
Sicko.
“4th Amendment does not apply to CPS.”
Plenty of amendments “did not apply” to certain branches of the government, until people successfully convinced the courts that they should though.

You are way nicer than me WMarshal.
This creep regularly seems to defend pedophile teachers whose crimes make the news here ,
( the quotation marks around abuse is just another example of that,)
and it’s disgusting.
.
If it was a hot female cop “abusing” a 15 year old boy, then Humblegunner is right.
They really do need to come up with a different name for the kind of “abuse” every boy dreams of.
The way he keeps working homos in his comments, I suspect he could be a homo child groomer
We can hope that someone will challenge this abomination and that the Trump court will strike down the CPS exemption to the Constitution.
There are few Freepers who would disagree. I have no patience for RINOs and bloodthirsty fans of Biden's grifting Ukraine War.
On the state and local level I have a bias in favor of the police but I definitely do not give them the absolute benefit of the doubt anymore. At the Federal level I just save time and assume they are guilty.
