s Americans prepare to hit the road for Thanksgiving, average gas prices will be at their highest seasonal level ever, according to GasBuddy.
GasBuddy says the national average is projected to stand at $3.68 on Thanksgiving Day. This is nearly 30¢ higher than last year, and over 20¢ higher than the previous record of $3.44 set in 2012.
And diesel prices, the life blood of the shipping industry, relative to gasoline prices, are soaring. Highest since 2004.
As we approach Thanksgiving Day, it is important to be thankful ... that things aren't even worse under Billions Biden. US CRB foodstuffs are up 49% under Biden while diesel fuel is up 102%.
My Thanksgiving dinner, because of the cost, will be a Jersey Mike's turkey and provolone sub (mini). Or this canned dinner.

Gas prices are declining today, mostly due to a downturn in the global economy. Watch Jean-Pierre and Biden take credit for it.

Gas prices also move inversely to the dollar, even as it relates to other currencies (
https://www.cnbc.com/quotes/.DXY). With the Fed tightening on interest rate and balance sheet, the dollar's value is going up (the DXY is going up). That means it costs less dollars to buy things, with the price of gas being one of the most fluid prices on the market (price of gas goes up or down faster than, say, the price of bread).

When I was in high school, Gas was about $.30 a gallon and diesel was around $.13.
I wonder why it flipped. Diesel is cheaper to refine.

The funniest thing is that Democrats don’t blame Brandon for any of this. It’s either Wall Street, or BIG Oil, or some other nonsense.

I live in a small town. The grocery was missing all kinds of food today. What is there is priced way too high.
At this rate, people will not be eating much.

I wonder that too. Growing up diesel was always a fair bit cheaper than gas. That hasn’t been the case in years.

The dems in power WANT us to suffer. This is 100% intentional. It’ll weaken the folks and make them more pliable - more apt to accept what’s coming next.

That’s true of the press but I wonder how many elections have been “free and fair” since 2016.

That’s true of the press but I wonder how many elections have been “free and fair” since 2016.elections have always had a fraud margin. The problem is that with mail out voting and harvesting the margin grew substantially to the point that it swings elections.

Monday and Thursday are my 600 calorie days. It's a poor fit for Thanksgiving. I was prepared to forego the turkey this week. Last Friday, my wife and I were at Natural Grocers. They got an unexpected shipment for additional organic turkeys. We decided on a 6.8 lb bone-in breast. $67! It will take us a week to work through that turkey meat.
Going out to eat used to run about $25 for both of us including tip. It is now running nearly $50. The cost of food is getting ridiculous. We didn't go out yesterday. Dinner was 4 oz of leftover tuna salad and the last Leinenkugel Oktoberfest beer. Good enough.
