The old adage success has a thousand fathers will get some ironic play in this post-midterm assessment. Republicans may well end up achieving their goal of capturing majorities in both chambers of Congress, but the amplitude of the presumed “red wave” hardly met expectations.

You’re pro -abortion, I take it.
Aren’t you special.
People thought Dems would cross over because of the economy....they didn’t.
Ed, your not funny, your sick
.
I do not believe the voters were fooled or the Republicans candidates were not hardcore ProLife enough. The reason the ProLife movement is going to fail in its maximal goals is that would require a complete reversal of pethaps six decades of what the Sexual Revoution working in tandem with Feminism has accomplished.
Interesting DeSantis did not touch prohibiting abortion prior to 15 weeks . That is what the cutoff appears for the median voter in the United States and Western Europe. Abortion is now a dead issue in Florida for the foreseeable future
Tons of money came in for the political ads. The media told us a red wave was coming, from their polls. Now the Republicans won the House, they want to rain on any positive news for the Party.
When one raises animals and a mother kills her offspring it’s considered a pathology, something is wrong with the mother, breed another female instead.
In humans for some reason this type of behavior is being seen as normal. This viewpoint is typical of a dying civilization. Baal worship (sacrifice of infants to a fiery pit) is a great example of this.
Was it ever discussed when the Supreme Court would have gotten into Roe V Wade had Alito’s writings NOT been leaked? Were they going to review before or after the mid-terms? Just wondering, because if we take baby killing off the table, that red wave would have definitely appeared.
Not Pro but don’t care. I understand for some that means I am pro. Sounds quote similar to the Woke interested in making you care about their causes.
The pro-life movement needs to get more realistic about what can pass and what won’t pass. The gun control lobby understands this. While they certainly want to ban everything, they know that would fail so they’re going with incremental controls and laws which seem “reasonable” to the average person.

The decision would have been released on the exact same day it ultimately was.
Thank you.
The rape of our strategic oil reserves to temporarily prevent inflation enabled to take the heat off of the economy on Biden
Now we are going to dance
and winter is just starting...no diesel...possible rail strike...groceries keep going up and up
The plan has been all along to delay any victories for Republicans as much as possible so that the Dems can milk this narrative that there was no “red wave”. The totals in Arizona and Nevada have been sandbagged by the election officials to deny any victory claims by Lake and Laxalt. If Masters also pulls ahead and beats Kelly it will give the Senate to Republicans even without Walker.
The argument that Oz was not a quality candidate compared to Fetterman is a joke. The late night “drop and roll” of ballots in GA that kept Walker below 50 percent is a play from the 2020 playbook.
If Reps control the House and Senate at the end of the counting and gain the AZ governorship, I call that progress. The nets will bury this and keep up the Trump bashing, but MAGA will be in power again.
What decent man would want to have sex where a baby was literally shredded to death? Maybe females should think about that before the kill.
I think the abortion issue is a bit of gaslighting. I don’t think it made a real difference this year — but it’s good coverage for cheating. How do those Democrats do so surprising well when 80% of the country thinks we’re going in the wrong direction? Well ... well ... uhhhhh ... I guess ... I guess everyone was really, really upset about abortion.
I don’t buy that.
I will also note the irony of Roe v Wade being decided by 7 guys in Washington DC who thought it was a swell idea. Even Ruth Bader Ginsberg was on record saying that it was a poorly decided case (although she like the outcome).
In this year in which everything was “a threat to our democracy”, 6 guys in Washington DC decided that this was not something the Constitution covered (RBG was right) and that 6 guys or 7 guys should not be deciding this. Instead, the issue should go back to the several states and the People should vote on who would represent them in the state legislatures, and that through this democratic process of popular election, each state would decide the issue for itself.
The Democrats hated that, but how many voters were genuinely angry that they were given the right to decide this for themselves?
Im to the point where Id be fine with at least 25 planned parenthoods in every major city. Were better off in the long run.
Yeah and the killing tool was vote fraud.
Pro-lifers are stupid, as usually good churchy people are.
Roe V Wade was not about abortion per say, it was about the privilege of the left to recruit women out of the family and into anti-family abortion and the usage of sex for raising money as prostitutes instead of for having children and a family.
And so, it does not surprise me they are not good at recruiting or alleviating from the fear mongering of the Democrats. Pro lifers have been a boon for democrats this election.
People forget that the government is not here for morality either way, ie the one of the prostitute nor of the saint, but equal application of the law. The indoctrination privilege that the left enjoys should have been the target of the rhetoric. This is something that every family would have accepted, which is to keep public schools and CPs from enforcing abortion promotion .
