Why there wasn't a red wave
You tube ^ | 11/9/2022 | NO Panic

As a millennial, In my opinion there are 2 reasons for the Republican's issue in gaining the genZ and millennial support

1. We want more social freedoms. We believe the government has no right to dictate our lives. My body my choice, both ways. Do drugs, not my right to tell you no. You are gay? Cool, doesn't matter. Marriage is a religious institution not a government responsibility. Tax implications are another story and if two people are “married” the federal government should not be regulating morality. This is where Republicans mess up. Stop focusing on these petty things and focus on what matters. (THE ECONOMY, FOREIGN AFFAIRS, SPENDING ON OTHERS WHILE WE STRUGGLE, ETC)

2. Indoctrination is a thing and it is getting worse. When I was young I was told by a student teacher “democrats are for the people and republicans are for corporations”, BUT IT WASNT THROWN INTO MY CARTOONS! This "Nick news" aka political ad, has been running on Nickelodeon, over and over for at least a week.

Considering the GOP is STILL flipping seats in the house from D to R and we might take the Senate, yeah id call that a freakin RED WAVE

Exactly! The Dems needed to make it look like a bad night for the Rs. As Kash Patel said: All we need to do is stop the Biden agenda. Looks like we’re doing that by taking the House and controlling the purse strings. If we take the Senate, we control the agenda.

Now all we need are new, tough leaders!

A better plan might be to stuff the gen Z’s in burlap bags and drown ‘em in the river.

I think the issue is, the pollsters screwed up, you had Gingrich going on tv saying how the GOP was going to win 60+ house seats, only an absolute dumb ass would believe that OK, that was NEVER EVER going to happen..EVER..if we win the Senate, gain a decent portion in the House, Id do a freakin HAPPY DANCE, to me that is enough

To call marriage, the foundation of Western Civilization, a petty matter is beyond stupid. Government isn't in the "Marriage Business". This is a myth. The institution of marriage between a man and a woman precedes government so government is obligated to respect and protect it to ensure we have a civilzation for our self determination. This is where libertarianism turns into anarchy and chaos.

Sounds rather libertarian to me. I’m down with that. I think the guy mint should stay out of all parts of our lives.

No offense, but suddenly everyone is a pundit with the exact reason there wasn’t a tsunami. Where were all these geniuses a week ago?

And yes, abortion likely had a lot to do with this because since the Garden of Eden, no woman can stand to be told what to, or not to do. And yet, many of these same Gen Z, Millennials, whatever, were absolutely happy to demand that everyone get a medical injection against their will. They were perfectly fine to laugh and agree with Jimmy Kimmel that the non-vaxxed were the problem and that they should be killed. It was 1932 Germany all over again, and these saintly “My Body, My Choice” phonies were more than happy to mark and ostracize anyone who didn’t do what the government demanded.

And, as another poster said, I do not care. I stand against killing the innocent. We all are going to have to give an account of our lives, and stupid political interpretations don’t matter. The bottom line is that this country has morally crashed. We alternately believe either there is no God and nothing to worry about, or that we stand as the supreme creation in all the universe.

Fools.

Excellent observations!

My ward in Ellsworth, Maine had three times the number of absentee ballots in this election then previous midterm elections.

Anyone who is for murdering innocent little preborn babies between conception and birth is unfit for any leadership position.

Stop focusing on these petty things (homosexuality, abortion, drug use, etc.) and focus on what matters.

It is Almighty God, the Creator of the universe, the giver of of life, and the sovereign judge over all things who decides what is "petty" and what "matters."

If He clearly says "No!" then that settles it. We cannot prosper in any way without God's favor and we will not receive any of His favor while we are flaunting our wickedness and rebellion in His face.

What is a millennial? You’re 1000 years old?

As to your post. You want Democrats to win?

I figure Walker is going to win his Senate seat. Question: what defines a red wave?
