The absence of guards might simply be that they felt safe enough without them. On the other hand, the absence of guards eliminates possible witnesses to things the Pelosi's want to keep secret.

Elon Musk is certainly irritating all the right people, I hope he keeps but there likely will be consequences. These liberals can make his life miserable and very costly if necessary.
I already hear the Biden Administration is looking into Musk for national security reasons.
You could see NASA starting give SpaceX the cold shoulder.
I wouldn’t be surprised if someone in the Defense establishment warned Elon Musk over even thinking about cutting Starlink service in Ukraine.
As I said, he is no conservative, and I probably disagree with him on nearly everything but the 1st Amendment and space travel.
But if we don’t have the 1st Amendment, the ONLY one that counts after that is the 2nd Amendment, and I would prefer NOT to have that as the only recourse.
I welcome anyone who is fully for the 1st Amendment, because we need those people more than ever, or all the others are lost.
