On Thursday morning Kevin McCarthy told Punchbowl News that he will not impeach corrupt and senile Joe Biden.
The Daily Mail reported:
Kevin McCarthy is not as eager as his GOP colleagues to immediately seek impeachment against Joe Biden‘s Cabinet members if they win back a majority in the November midterms.
Some Republicans are out for blood – seeking revenge by way of Biden and his team after Democrats politicized impeachment and sought it against Donald Trump two times during his four years in office.
The House GOP Leader, however, told Punchbowl News that Americans don’t ‘like impeachment used for political purposes at all,’ and said ‘the country wants to heal’ and see a ‘system that actually works.’
He also said that Republicans need to maintain their integrity by not turning around and engaging in the same politically-motivated actions that they railed against the opposing party for doing the last four years.

McCarthy is making the assumption that he will be majority leader. That may not happen. As more and more RINO’s are ousted, the establishment has less of a hold on the GOP than they had previously.

Sadly, McCarthy has chosen to throw a bucket of cold water on any prospect at a most inopportune time as Midterm votes are already being cast.

My preference would be to move legislation through on economic issues, not impeach anyone right off the bat. With the exception of Mayorkas, of course.
He is the greatest GOTV candidate for the opposition since Nixon after watergate; possibly even since Wilson. Why interfere?

I think it was a smart thing to say. How much of the electorate, even non-Rino R’s, would be turned off of voting for a Congress that thinks it’s first job is impeaching Bidet.
Every time I hear the “we need to heal the nation” I want to scream. It’s always a weak cop-out excuse.
