The Tide Has Just Turned Against Mitch McConnell

Mitch McConnell isn’t a “turtle.” He’s a RINO. A dying RINO, who will do anything he can to hold on to power, even if that means sabotaging Republicans. And yes, that’s exactly what Mitch is doing right now. He’s fighting tooth and nail against two America First candidates, Kelly Tshibaka out of Alaska and Blake Masters out of Arizona. And the reason why he’s feverishly trying to stop both is because each one of these candidates has vowed NOT to support him as Senate Majority or Minority Leader next session.

snip

Both Masters and Tshibaka have pledged not to support McConnell for another term in GOP leadership.

If we don’t get rid of saboteurs like Mitch McConnell, and I am sorry, but Kevin McCarthy, too, then we will never win. Neither one of these men supports the America First Agenda, and just like last time, they will both work against our agenda behind the scenes. They will pull strings and call in favors and work with the left to make sure the MAGA agenda does not pass. And that’s because they are BOTH establishment Republicans — the old guard, and nothing — and I mean NOTHING will ever change that.

I am semi-confident that McConnell will not be a “leader” anymore, but I think McCarthy will likely be House Speaker. I wish President Trump didn’t trust him so much, I think he’s a bad guy, a sneaky guy, and a mole who will secretly work to sabotage MAGA every chance he gets.

But as it stands now, McConnell is destroying his political career. President Trump has been calling him out, and now Alaska is chiming in. I don’t think he can survive all of this pressure. And I hope he doesn’t. I can’t wait to say “good riddance”

Two votes on the pub side won’t make any difference.

I don’t trust McCarthy at all. He’s another Boehner. And, like Boehner, his wanton desire for the Speaker’s gavel dictates everything he does; his only fealty is to whatever it takes to obtain that gavel and keep it.

I hope the good citizens of Alaska and Arizona do what Kentuckians won’t, which is to get rid of McConnell (or at least his power) by electing Kelly Tshibaka and Blake Masters. Kentuckians have it right with Rand Paul but have it wrong with Mitch McConnell. He is bad for America.

My guess is that Jim Jordan doesn’t want the job as Speaker, but I think he would be a lot better than McCarthy.

If McConnell is out I won’t shed a tear.

That’s the epitome of a RINO POS.

I think Jordan would be a great Speaker.

The only subject Mitch done well on lately is his Supreme Court Judge work, and that’s over.

We need new blood, and less China influence.

Exactly. Mitch is in no risk of losing his position should both of these people be elected.

He definitely is working against them, but it’s not because if they win his position is at risk.

“Two votes on the pub side won’t make any difference.”

No GOP Senator is required to caucus with the Republicans. Refusing to do so could deprive Republicans of the majority. That is the leverage that every senator holds in a tightly divided Senate.

Even if the two instill some backbone in others?

Well, a friend made a good point to me. There is a non-zero chance that Murkowski will win. And if she wins, there is a non-zero chance that she could leave the Republican party, perhaps even join the Dems. So supporting her now means a greater likelihood she remains within the Republican caucus, even if she’s a RINO, it’s better than her giving another seat to Schumer.

Yeah, that’s an old argument, and non-sensical. She should have been stripped of her committees and her seniority removed after she failed to support the Republican nominee in 2010 and decided to run as an independent. And then she may have left the party then and we would have been freed of her as the Republican nominee in 2016.

This business of keeping traitors within the fold for fear of reprisal has got to stop. She ALREADY IS another seat for Schumer.

Ahh the good ole neocon power days.

Bush
Boehner
Ryan
Mcconnel
And more…

All powerful to wage war and gain profits and let the Dems manipulate the media, stack the fbi, immigration and courts to set up their future dominance as we are seeing now.

Curse the whole lot of ‘em.
