In an hour-long video interview with WND (embedded below), Cahn – known for his New York Times bestselling book "The Harbinger," discusses his latest, "The Return of the Gods."
He contends that behind the mythologies of ancient pagan cultures are real, active spiritual beings, the "principalities and powers." With the advent of Christianity 2,000 years ago, he submits, cultures formed that exchanged the libertine pagan views of male and female, sexuality and community for faithful marriages, families and civil societies centered on acknowledgement and worship of the Creator.

Timothy Alberino’s “Birthright: The Coming Posthuman Apocalypse and the Usurpation of Adam’s Dominion on Planet Earth” goes into this, as well.
It’s always been my belief that the pagan world didn’t just pull the gods they worshiped outta their butts imagination.....
.. They saw stuff,,, stuff beyond human stuff.
Fallen Angel stuff.
Think about it.
If I decided to worship my green bic lighter as a deity,,,and tried to get others to worship my bic lighter as a deity,,,
Do you think they would ?
And that legends that would persist for centuries from now about the green Bic god ?
Bought Unseen Realm a couple of weeks ago. I’m now reading for the second time.
The Romans were awful by our standards but they didn’t build an empire by being libertines. In their rising years they had a steely devotion to family and state. Pagan empires didn’t become empires without discipline, determination, and self-denial.
That book is a MUST read. I now have all his books.
Regarding Cahn, I no longer follow him. He had some pretty specific predictions not too long ago and they never happened. I even remember him in a video, as the date approached, looking almost ill and sweaty, suggesting that they were not as cast in concrete as he said before.
We don’t stone false prophets any more, but I actively ignore anything he may say now.
Prometheus.
Bfl
Yeah he had that Shemitah cycle predictions going on. Now he’s got a new set of ideas to promulgate (and sell books).
I've read it twice from cover to cover and many times by individual passages.
Me too...he is a false prophet.
Not that long ago A guy named Joe Smif pulled some “plates” outta his butt and a bunch of people followed him and established a “religion” - if he had your Bic back then who knows
A book that gets into this stuff long before Mike Heiser is Julian Jaynes "The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bi-Cameral Mind." Read some of the review at link.
Whether his theories are accurate or not is beside the point. What matters is how we begin to think of this subject matter.
A lot of what we Westerners might call libertine in ancient cultures wasn't libertine at all.
The fact that ancient non-Judeo/Christian cultures involved ritual sexuality as part of the temple worship of their gods and goddesses does not mean that their societies were undisciplined.
What went on in their temples was quite separate and distinct from what went on in the streets, in homes, and on the battlefields.
That said, their mores were still quite different from ours.
I would have read some of the 368 comments there but WND is one of the most cluttered crappy designed webpages Ive seen, huge banners and sidebars with tiny text of article sandwiched in the middle. bah.
Joe SAW something convincing to him.
on May 2, 1838, a few months before Smith’s statement in Elders’ Journal, Smith began dictating a church history that included a detailed account of his visits from the angel (Smith 1838a, p. 7). Smith seems to have identified the
angel as “Nephi”,
which is the name of the Book of Mormon’s first narrator (Smith 1838a, p. 5). Smith’s apparent 1838 identification as “Nephi” was left unchanged when the 1838 history was published in 1842 in Times and Seasons,

I.e. fallen angel.
A good book.
I probably could get some greenies to follow me and my green bic ,
considering how brainless they must be to begin with.
” Behold,
light and fire !!!
Bow and worship !
It’s GREEN !!!”
