The Justice Department has hit the Eagle Forum of Alabama with a voluminous subpoena that violates the organization’s First Amendment rights to speak freely, engage in the political process, and talk to their elected representatives. It’s an intimidation tactic, pure and simple, and shows just how partisan the department has become. This out-of-control behavior should scare every citizen and volunteer organization, no matter where they stand on the political or social spectrum.
Eagle Forum is a very small non-profit in Alabama. It only has one full-time employee and a second, part-time employee. Virtually all of its work on issues of interest to its members is done by volunteers. It is the quintessential, uniquely American grassroots membership organization that French historian Alexis de Tocqueville lauded in Democracy in America.
As the Eagle Forum’s motion to quash the government subpoena says, one of the issues its members have been concerned over is “gender-altering medical treatment to minors” and the “permanent and adverse effects of such medical procedures on those minors.” Those serious, lifelong effects deeply concern many physicians and parents.
Members of the Eagle Forum made their worries known by doing things every American has an absolute right to do: they spoke out, made speeches, organized meetings, talked to other residents and organizations in the state, and contacted their elected state representatives. In other words, they exercised their constitutional rights to engage in “freedom of speech,” to “peaceably assemble,” and “to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” They also exercised their right to associate, recognized by the Supreme Court as implicit under the Fourteenth Amendment.
None of these activities should trigger stalking by Justice Department lawyers. So how has this come about?

That's a BIG deal. The DOJ (and even the FBI under them) are supposed to go to great lengths to AVOID chilling speech, and are specifically not allowed to bring the power of the government to bear against individual citizens absent a genuine legal need for the information sought.
The Democrat party is acting as if they'll never be out of power. Do they know something that we don't?
This is Eagle Forum of Alabama, and I am encouraged to see this group taking action on the subject regarding these demonic actions of child mutilation and corruption.
So, I went to the Eagle Forum of Georgia website to see if possibly there was activity going on here in Georgia, but it looks like that site is pretty dead and the last updates seem to be in 2018.
I sent a message on their contact form anyhow, but not holding my breath.
I’m going to donate to the Eagle Forum of Alabama, to help with this stand against tyranny.

Here's the problem with that natural impulse: the DOJ can, and will, bring the full power of the state, with its limitless resources against these individuals (none of whom are wealthy), so the best case scenario in the event of open defiance is that they will all be bankrupted. More likely, they would be tossed into a federal prison somewhere, and left to rot in solitary, just like the J6 protesters. Not sure what the fix is, but letting the regime pick its enemies off one by one is a lousy strategy.
It would be nice if a court were to actually stop the DOJ from doing this sort of thing but they all seem to be corrupted too.

Some additional background.
Back when Clinton was President, HUD rented an old motel in a residential area to house homeless drug addicts. Local residents exercised their rights of speech to petition their representatives. HUD issued almost identical subpeonas in what was referred to as a SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation). This suit was designed to intimidate the local residents and impose onerous requirements for documents. HUD admitted the right of these residents to take these actions but claimed the rights of the druggies trumpted the rights of the residents. The residents did not have the resources (do you think Eagle Forum would) to continue the fight so they settled.
The terms of the settlement were outrageous. The residents had to have a Welcoming Party for the druggies, provid HUD with a complete program of speakers and their texts, detailed descriptions of the food and refreshments to be served, etc.
this was covered extensvily in the WSJ in the mid 90s.
The Barak regime has to shut them down for fascism.
If you value your freedom more than life itself, you will not comply to unjust government acts that illegally deny your freedoms.

Becky and her husband have been involved in conservative politics at least back to the Wetumpka Tea Party days in 2009.
This will be a good case to watch. One would think an AL judge would quash such a ridiculous subpoena but we shall see.
At some point people have to simply refuse to obey such illegal requests. The blob counts of fear based compliance. Eventually people have to step outside that fear and just say “nope, GFY”.
