All parents of students in the William S. Hart Union High School District in Santa Clarita, California (in northern Los Angeles County; Santa Clarita includes the area of Valencia and Six Flags Magic Mountain), were sent this email on September 19, 2022 by the school district:
Good Evening Families,
As most of you have read or heard on the news, fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is 50 times stronger than morphine and is now causing more deaths in Santa Clarita than almost anywhere else in Los Angeles County.
This year alone, our valley has lost 23 people. We are highly concerned about our young people as many drugs including marijuana may contain deadly levels of fentanyl which cannot be seen, tasted, or smelled.
We are asking all high school principals to show the following 21 minute video to our students this Thursday, September 22nd. Please screen the video and contact your school principal if you wish to have your child opted out of the viewing. If you have children in junior high, it is recommended that you watch the film together and discuss the serious dangers of taking any substance without knowledge of its contents.

The City of Santa Clarita will be holding a parent symposium titled "Chasing the High" on Friday, September 23rd. The resource fair begins at 5:30 and the symposium begins at 6:00 pm. In case no one saw the Trump rally in PA - was it PA? I think that was the one - where he described the “quick trial” that sounds very like the Saudis’ zero tolerance for drugs. Someone charged with drug dealing is given a speedy trial and, if found guilty, s/he is executed.
I had to think for a few minutes, but then I realized: This is out of control. I can live without illegal drugs. And, in thinking it over some more, I never met a drug dealer who, if I found out he was dead, I would miss or cry over.
If someone shot/killed 23 people in a single community, it would certainly be a gigantic news item.

About two years ago, two thirty-something people came into the local bar. They had just been to the funeral of a former classmate at a high school in an affluent suburb east of Seattle. They said that in the previous three or four years, 13 of their former classmates had died of drug overdoses.

You are correct that a mass shooting event would be packaged and used as anti-firearms ownership propaganda. The woke communists are unconcerned how many drug fatalities there are. The logic is simple. In a country with over 300M people who cares within government if there are a couple hundred thousand drug overdose deaths a year. Firearms deaths are to be used as propaganda to cancel the 2nd Amendment. The goal is not peace but disarming middle class, mostly white, normal people. In actuality the drug plague is useful as it helps destroy organic white communities and most of the deaths are young white males who are culturally told they are shit and live in communities where jobs and the economy has been strip mined by the globulists. The drug plague just as is the third world invasion of America, is one of the tactics of woke communism to destroy the USA. Most people just don’t or won’t believe it.
