"As we all know democRATs accuse Conservatives, Populists and Republicans of what they themselves do, so it is never a surprise to catch them doing it. Recently a once famed actor whose glory days are long over and whose true acting promise was never fulfilled due to no sequel ever being made for his most famous and best movie decided to openly lie about the greatest governor alive today…and got caught doing so.
The great ‘Corvette Summer’ (1978) was a movie that featured a 27 year old man pretending to be a high school senior who falls in love with a woman who describes herself as a “prostitute trainee”. It made 4 times its budget back, yet that man..."

He thought he could get away with it or he wouldn’t have done it.
I remember going to see that movie at the theater. That was the ugliest Corvette I’d ever seen.
Regrettably, I actually clicked the link. What an idiotic website.
And the writer is no better.
Never heard of the movie. But soon it will be electric car summer!
They’ll still make a body that looks like a Corvette, but almost half the size and will feature a high output Maytag electric motor.
It would be helpful if the writer included the famed actor’s name in his column.
It was obviously mark ham ill of StarWars fame. Corvette Summer was a charming movie I saw by accident on end night when I couldn’t sleep. Hamill. mmm BB cmther better movie a friend of mine was in the big red ome with lee marvim. I have noticed he hasn’t been shy about mouthing off on the subject of Tru?mp
If DeSantis stands no chance of becoming President in 2024, as many Freepers claim, then why are leftists bothering to make up lies about him now?
Some Disney exec will remember this movie and remake it with an all gay / trans cast....
I vaguely remembered the movie from my youth, but had completely forgotten how ugly that car was. Wow!
Obviously the writer didn’t want to mention that because the writer was trying to paint the actor as a nobody.
Still, I think just about everyone knows Luke Skywalker on sight…..
The hood scoop was over the top, and got it’s own comment in the movie. Still, that scoop made that car instantly recognizable which was key to the plot (what little plot there was).
Just a b grade, typical teenage, have fun flick.
Still, it got Mark Hamill and Annie Potts on the radar.
Never heard of it or him
No, the author was trying to hang Mark Hamill’s worst movie around his neck like an anchor. And it worked.
CC
But then you wouldn't click!
Regards,
It might have worked for some people. ‘You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time…..’
Everyone has an opinion.
Worst movie? No that would be The Last Jedi by 12 parsecs at least.
(That was the ugliest Corvette I’d ever seen)
Yep
Never seen the movie but I’ve seen pics of that Corvette
The author’s intent here went right over my head.
You didn’t miss much.
Imagine Luke Skywalker designing the ugliest Corvette ever.
Talk about a one part actor. You kept expecting to hear “Use the Force Luke”
Anne Potts was nice but not worth the the time off your life to see it.
