There's something about Liz...

Liz Cheney is now revered by the left thanks to her attacks on Donald Trump. The left professes to admire her integrity and courage nut the truth is that Liz Cheney is a grifter. In her recent concession speech she said she'd work to keep Trump from being reelected:

“I will do everything I can to ensure that the former president never again gets anywhere near the Oval Office.”
That may sound familiar to you. Very familiar. In 2016 she said this about Hillary Clinton:
"...we've gotta do everything possible to make sure they never get anywhere near the Oval Office."
She also said
"She would be the most corrupt individual ever to sit in the Oval Office, if she's elected. And she clearly believes she's above the law. Obviously we know she will appoint Supreme Court justices who will undo and trample over so many of our constitutional rights …

"I can't believe that, you know, we're gonna elect somebody to the highest office in the land who has proven herself not only corrupt and not only a criminal, but completely unfit to be our commander in chief."

It's almost boilerplate.

Cheney hitched her wagon to Trump in 2016 to get elected to the House and since then has done little but attack Trump viciously and falsely.

Remember the phony Russian bounty story?

Republican Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney defended her amplification of an anonymously sourced story claiming that Russia paid Taliban soldiers to kill Americans in Afghanistan.

She would not back down from that despite...
It was a huge election-time story that prompted cries of treason. But according to a newly disclosed assessment, Donald Trump might have been right to call it a “hoax.”

It was a blockbuster story about Russia’s return to the imperial “Great Game” in Afghanistan. The Kremlin had spread money around the longtime central Asian battlefield for militants to kill remaining U.S. forces. It sparked a massive outcry from Democrats and their #resistance amplifiers about the treasonous Russian puppet in the White House whose admiration for Vladimir Putin had endangered American troops.

But on Thursday, the Biden administration announced that U.S. intelligence only had “low to moderate” confidence in the story after all. Translated from the jargon of spyworld, that means the intelligence agencies have found the story is, at best, unproven—and possibly untrue.

And her husband?
Wyoming GOP Rep. Liz Cheney’s husband is a partner at the law firm now representing Hunter Biden.

Philip Perry has worked at Latham & Watkins since 2007, and focuses on white collar cases, commercial and Supreme Court litigation, according to his company biography.

Another Latham partner, Chris Clark, has been representing Hunter Biden since December 2020 — but Cheney’s husband’s involvement at the firm had not been previously known.

Latham is a Democratic powerhouse, with company attorneys and other employees donating more than half a million dollars to President Biden’s 2020 campaign, Federal Election Commission records show. Clark himself ponied up $3,800.

Latham and Watkins also represent Michael Sussman

Liz Cheney also has 600 million reasons to bolster her independence from Trump and the GOP

The dems can’t allow her to switch parties. She is useful only as a tool for dividing the pubs. If she runs for the oval office in 24, it must be as a pub and not as a dem.

If Liz cared about her votes to same degree she hates Trump she would have kept her job.

“...they will appropriately categorize her as the evil POS she is.”

They never learn, do they?

TDS should be in the DSM-IV as a clinical mental disorder. One that is not treatable.

Professing to be from Wyoming, Liz used the State as a staging ground because she thought the locals could be subjugated into becoming her followers. She doesn’t understand hard working Americans.

I am always reminded of Bob Packwood, former Senator of Oregon.

He was a John McCain of his day, described by the Media back then as a “rock ribbed Republican”, a “Maverick” and an ‘Independent”.

The Media and Dems treated him that way because he was a trusted vote on the Republican side in favor of abortion. So he got that treatment. But when Bill Clinton was elected, Packwood’s utility to the Leftist agenda vanished.

He then got the treatment he should have all along, if the Media really did embrace their role as “watchdog”. But they don’t, and haven’t since the Sixties. They were (and are) into advocacy not reporting. Packwood should have been run out of town on a rail for his behavior towards women, if it were true. (I say that, because I never followed it that closely, but...given what the Left does now, I wouldn’t put it past them to have known he was prone to harass women, and set him up. I don’t know that, either)

But in any case, he was forced to resign from the Senate, because he no longer had the protection of the Media.

Lynn Cheney is not a conservative in any sense, so she could move to some other state and run as a Democrat there and likely win somewhere. That could happen, and would anyone blink an eye?

Not likely.

I believe she is mentally unstable person. So, she won’t be going down the path of someone like Bob Packwood (she was roundly beaten in any case) and she won’t follow the footsteps of Cindy Sheehan, who the Left milked for every single drop of her son’s blood they could entice her to squeeze out of herself for their cause.

Her 15 minutes of anti-American fame were up when she threw a press conference and nobody came.

To the Left, all you are is an implement in a collective. You have no intrinsic value apart from what you can do to forward the goals of The Party. When you are done, you are expendable.
