Since the pandemic started i have been doing the opposite of whatever cdc guidelines say and i have come through with no issues and flying colors. What to do now? I don’t trust the cdc, etc.

Someone should tell Nanzi, because she just authorized members of the House to vote electronically, rather than 'in person' on pending legislation.
I believe that authorization, based on covid concerns, is up to 189 legislators who will vote
'in abseentia' on the mid-labeled 'Inflation Reduction Act'
So covid concern is still alive and well in CONgress

This reminds me of what happened just before the Brexit. Among other measures to enact the bureaucrats were going to force British restaurants to do away with the glass decanters at tables for vinegar but decided to wait until after the vote.
I would ascribe this apparent reversal of policy to the same motives. This is an election year and the policies have been unpopular. I am sure there are new studies just waiting for 2023 to be published at all the acceptable places.
Remember you because you are not paranoid does not mean they arn't out to get you.

Since we haven’t cruised since Jan. 2020 we plan to do it up big in Jan. 2023. That’ll only be if all restrictions are lifted, and I mean ALL. Crossed fingers.
It’s bad enough having to show a passport. Not buying in to the mark of the beast.
