Why Did the DOJ and FBI Execute the Raid on Trump—The Story Behind the Documents
Conservative Treehouse ^ | 8/11/22 | Sundance

Posted on 08/11/2022 5:58:52 AM PDT by hardspunned

The past 24 hours have provided a great deal of clarity on several issues. CTH will be outlining the entire story behind the raid on President Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago in Florida, including what documents the DOJ and FBI are determined to control. However, before getting into the specifics, it is important to remember the full context of the threat that only Donald J Trump represents.

When you understand what documents President Trump was/is holding, the desperation of the DC response will make sense.

First, we need to remind everyone where the documents originated. What was President Trump asking the Office of Director of National Intelligence, Dept of Justice and FBI to release for the past four years? What is contained within those documents?

Not about documents. Nothing to do with documents. It’s to provoke a violent act from Trump supporters. Then they’ll have their excuse to take away whatever rights still remain.

I agree with that, so it’s a good idea for Trump supporters to keep a cool head and not do anything rash.

But, sadly, these people are able to incrementally chip away at 2nd Amendment rights, 4th Amendment rights, 5th Amendment rights, fair elections, and a million other things. Bit by bit, inch by inch, we lose what we have. Eventually we will have nothing (”and we will be happy”).

The flip side is that if we try to stop it and make a scene, those guys say, “Oh Ho! It’s time to play rough! We’re taking everything! Right now! No more incremental, inch by inch change for you! Welcome to Martial Law!!”

So, it’s either slow, or it’s fast. But it seems to be inevitable.

This was a repeat of Watergate. Instead of a burglary, they used the FBI.

Trust Sessions.
Trust the plan.
That worked out so well last time.

That is a fantastic article. Thank you very much for posting it, hardspunned.

THIS LINKED ARTICLE SHOULD BE REQUIRED READING FOR EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN.

Seriously. The "Intelligence Branch".

No more the three branches, Executive, Judicial, and Legislative.

There are now four branches: Executive, Judicial, Legislative, and Intelligence.

As an American, post 9/11, I understood us to be at war. Thousands of us had been murdered in cold blood, in a matter of several hours. I grasped the failure of intelligence, and I supported this PATRIOT act as a war measure.

I was wrong, and will not shy away from my error on this.

My error was in not remembering one of the key reasons I consider myself a Conservative, and that specific reason is: Evil exists, and it is inherent in Human Nature.

I simply forgot what our Founders would NEVER have forgotten: That people in power cannot be TRUSTED to not do evil to the citizenry. They must be ACTIVELY PREVENTED from doing evil to the citizenry.

It is in our nature to be corrupt, and must be actively guarded against. In my foolishness, I let down my guard because I thought it was necessary.

This is not a new revelation on my part. I began to see the issues engendered by the PATRIOT act before Bush left office. What I did not realize was just how swiftly, surely, and fiercely the Left would seize on the vulnerability and exploit it, as they have surely done with a gusto that is unseemly even for them.

Even for them.

The ironic thing is, like so many Conservative positions and endeavors, we will try to find a way to fix this, to save our country, and our own skins. In doing so, like so many other things for the good of this nation, we will have to fight the Left in the form of our politicians and fellow citizens, who will resist us tooth and nail. But in the end, it will benefit and save them too, though they neither understand it, admit it, or know it.

And now, we must find a way out of this mess. Will we have the courage and resolve to do so.

Also about motivating the Dem base to turn out in Nov.

Make no mistake, their base loves this stuff.

In the movie A River Runs Through It, the father is teaching his son Norman how to write.

He assigns Norman a subject, and then Norman must write about it.

Norman returns later with his paper.

The father tells him to do it again, but only half as long.

Norman makes the change and comes back.

The father tells him to again reduce it by half.

Norman does and his father is satisfied.

This writer should have had a father like Norman’s.

This one article is way too long.

Normal people can’t and won’t read it.

This wont help voter turn out for the dems. This will hurt them. This is a spectacular example of leftist overreach. Even some tried and true liberals have come out questioning this. These folks keep making promises ,year after year about how this is the opportunity to take Trump down and they cant get it done. Its not a matter of technicalities that allows him to go free again and again... its because these cases, just like this document nonsense and the 1/6 hyperbole, has no foundation except vengeance and derision. Justice is not being served. Its a persecution. I think alot of anti trumpers are sick of being suckered by these charlatans. If this raid is a big swing and a miss, it will hurt the left in Nov.

This is Part 1

And would print out to 30 pages. Sundance should just write a book.

From the article, here’s the solution: The way to tear this apart begins with STATE LEVEL election reform that blocks the Legislative Branch from coordinating with the Intelligence Branch.

Sundance really should write a book. I’d probably not buy it though. If you were paying attention the last five years none of this is surprising. It’s very hard for me to even read these three parts. I hate having my nose rubbed in it again.

The article is too long be winded. The stuff that happened after 9/11 is irrelevant, because it was the commies in the Obama Admin who did this. There was a wall between the FBI and CIA before 9/11 that contributed to the intelligence failure. They also didn’t really abuse the Patriot Act at the time.

and part four is yet to come.

I was bouncing around radio stations a couple of days ago and when it got to talk radio, Hannity was babbling about the how “the Hillary Clinton campaign was peddling the phony Steele Russian dossier” just like he was 4 years ago.

I prefer to read but dang, 30 pages for Part 1 and there’s parts 2, 3 and will be a part 4. That’ll likely be over 100 pages using the print friendly feature on his site. Maybe Part 4 will have a summary.

That’s a small price to pay for the insight and knowledge you’ll gain about both wings of the Uniparty DS. You could waste your time reading the innumerable Fox rehashings of their particular Uniparty disinfo concerning the DOJ/FBI goonarama we’ve been watching for five years.

I have to disagree with you on this, blueunicorn6.

For too long in this information age, we have had extremely complicated issues we as citizens MUST understand, of which this is one of them.

As a society, we must be able to learn to boil down the information ourselves and process it ourselves.

This is a lot to ask, and many people are not capable of it.

I first realized this back during the Whitewater Scandal in the Nineties. The media had already gone full bore to the Left, so their account was not accurate. I looked at it with as much information as I could, and it was evident to me that crimes had been committed by Hillary Clinton and her associates. Plain as day.

The problem it, you could not say to people that she committed crimes, even if you gave a key rationale. People just rationalize around it and nothing changes in them. Worse, if you attempt to deliver context and information, people’s eyes just glaze over, no matter how good you are at compressing or simplifying it. And I consider myself to be above average at doing this when it is called for, since I often have to do this professionally. When giving decision making information to busy people who are key, you MUST boil things down to a bare minimum...or you see their attention span wander. This is also a key skill in the military. (I don’t observe this practice often on Free Republic, and my posts are often lengthy as many honest people will attest. But I do that on Free Republic to provide information for others who practice the crowd-sourcing and dissemination of information)

The alternatives are not great.

One alternative is to have the media boil it down and present it to people. This option is an unmitigated recipe for disaster. It may have worked forty or fifty years ago, but today, the media is a propaganda arm of the Left, or more accurately, The Deep State. That will not work.

Crowd-sourcing decisions as we do here on FR is another alternative and it has its place. I have not consumed any media for going on 25 years now. Not watched news on TV. Haven’t read a newspaper. Don’t read periodicals. But I get my information from a variety of sources and distill it myself, taking into account the source when factoring in the information. Needless to say, Free Republic has been invaluable to me. I have come to know the individual posters here, who has a good handle on which types of information and provides valuable perspective, and who is just a firebomb thrower.

Some people are alternately firebomb throwers and valued information providers, depending on the circumstances and subjects. I know I am.

Point it, we need to, as a society, be able to learn to boil down information for ourselves instead of accepting the concise word of someone who decides it for us.

As an aside, I am not finished yet with that article, but I haven’t seen much extraneous fluff there yet.
