Fan Friendly Sundays

I attended the White Sox game today.

Because of unchecked crime on the Chicago Transit Authority, I decided to skip the Red Line train and to drive to Guaranteed Rate Field. There is a reduced parking rate of $15.00 available on "Fan Friendly Sundays."

Unfortunately, criminals are working the intersection of 37th Street and Wentworth Avenue. These scammers are posing as parking attendants in order to rip off unsuspecting fans. The con artists were dressed in yellow vests and ball caps and pretending to be employees while directing traffic and flagging down passing cars.

One of these jokers came up to my vehicle and told me to pay him $40.00 in cash in order to park my car. I asked what happened to the $15.00 Sunday parking rate? The liar said that those parking places were sold out, but for $40.00 I could park near home plate. This struck me as ridiculous since I was past the center field scoreboard.

I smelled a rat and pulled away from this loser and turned on 37th Street and found an actual White Sox authorized parking employee and then proceeded to pay the $15.00 Sunday rate.

I asked the man to call the police and he said that the team is aware of the con artists, but the CPD has been ordered to stand down by the local politicians. What a disgrace. If I did as much, I would be arrested and jailed.

When I joined our group, I learned that one person had been conned out of $40.00 by the tricksters.

Special thanks to George Soros prosecutor Kim Foxx and Chicago Mayor Laurie Lightfoot for permitting the con artists to go unpunished.

Cease pitched effectively and Oakland left runners on base for the most part as the White Sox prevailed 4-1.

It’s when the police treat the whims of politicians as law instead of the actual law that they lose the trust of the public.

The purpose of the game event was to support American Legion Baseball Charities. I was not fleeced as I had spotted the scammers as fakes.

++++++

That’s what I figured. Probably nephews of an alderman, or someone important is getting a cut.

Okay. Victims obeying the law isn't what it used to be, either. Vigilante justice isn't what the cities said they wanted but they are pushing citizens into it.

So how much of what you spent to support the group actually got to the group?

As long as Jason Benetti and Steve Stone are broadcasting, there’s still hope.

“criminals are working the intersection of 37th Street and Wentworth Avenue.” Thank you for the counsel and warning. Sad that the police won’t destroy their deception. I pity the criminals who are ignorant of the Ten Commandments and will meet the Supreme Judge one day. Oakland A’s stadium has the same losers outside the gates.

I am guessing that since I don’t live near there & wouldn’t go to a ball game if they paid me, then I am in no danger of being scammed by this one, but it’s good to know that stuff like this is going on in many other places & so far I have been able to avoid all of them. Where I live we have people(occasionally) standing on street corners looking for handouts. Some are probably scammers & there are ways of detecting it, but we do need to know when such things are a possibility.
