Easy enough to do. But I doubt it will be NJ or NY because of their stupid high taxes.
Nonsense. Trump is a leader, not a delegator. He will keep control. His interest also lie in the domestic end of policy rather than international. I don’t see him freely giving up control over any part of his administration, much less the part where his interests lie.
He wouldn’t have to until November 2024.
Correct, it’s not in the constitution, but , in short:
if Pres. & VP are from same state, one of the 2 candidates will forfeit that state’s EVs
Article II
Not possible with both men being legal residents of Florida. If Trump moves his residence back to NY or to NJ then this would be an amazing ticket.
Try the 12th Amendment.
Electors must have either the President or the Vice President from a different state than the electors. Both cannot be from the same state as the elector.
So Florida electors could not vote for both Trump and DeSantis, which would probably change the election results.
You can apologize to those you criticized.
Why those two states? He can buy property wherever he wishes and establish residency there.
And be sure to implement this "RADICAL AGENDA":
Flynn for VP! I love it.
A VP like Flynn would be the only way to ensure total vindication for President Trump, and a true deep state purge.
The very first step in the corrupt security state’s coup against Trump, was to eliminate Flynn, because they knew he knows where all the bodies are buried and was threatening to expose them.
They began the plot to discredit him as a kook and a traitor before Donald Trump was even sworn in.
Flynn would give anything to show the world what really happened over the last six years, and who the real villains are. Flynn and Trump on the same ticket could be a true wrecking ball if they can surround themselves with loyal security teams who will keep them alive long enough.
Sadly, that is far from certain.
Following the Constitution is not a rat thing for sure.
Oh, that hurts. I’d forgotten about that.
It does not say they cannot both be from the same state, which is what you said. It says the state electors cannot vote for both.
Apology accepted.
That would be awesome. DeSantis gives us a solid heir apparent to take over if anything should happen to Trump and frankly, I have more confidence in DeSantis’ judgment when it comes to making personnel choices.
I guess it ain’t a secret then?
Obviously this is something he has heard from sources he trusts. I do know he has sources who are close to Trump. He himself is and has been close to Trump for years.
1st I’d heard of him was commenting on the Kyle trial
Why does Trump have to move to NY or NJ? He could move into one of his hotels in Illinois or Nevada as a temporary residence before moving back to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
It’s a not a Republican thing anymore, either.
Look how much opposition there is to upholding the natural born citizen clause there is right here on Free Republic.
The children of foreigners (who are born with foreign nationality) have a lot of fans here.
