conceded that Biden’s irresponsible $1.9 trillion stimulus package was inflationary, The stimulus packages were oil on the fire at the beginning. Other things have made it worse. The stimulus packages passed under Trump and Biden planted the seeds of inflation by dumping trillions of dollars into the economy without anywhere to spend it because of the COVID shutdown. As the economy started to recover you had all that money that people were ready to spend and a supply chain not yet ready to support it. Toss in the oil shutdown and supply chain issues and the increased government spending on things like the infrastructure package and we were going to get inflation regardless. It didn't have to be as high as it turned out to be.
