I'm posting this in hopes of getting some traction with the press. I've posted it several other places and hope that people will copy and paste it as well as write their local representatives.
One of the biggest tragedy's to hit Kentucky in a decade or more, three law Enforcement Officers and a K9 are murdered and every news outlet in Kentucky goes silent. All we know is that Storz was arraigned/indicted and that's it.
Who was Lance Storz? What did he do for a living? What was his history? What events led up to the incident? What happened during the incident? What weapons did Storz use. How many shots were fired? Was Storz on drugs or alcohol or both? How did Storz manage to ambush the law officers? How many officers were on scene and where were they from? And on and an on. There are so many questions that I and every Kentuckian need to know. Why the cover up? Are the news outlets covering for Storz?
Who IS Lance Storz?

A link to any story or info would be helpful. There has to be one. How did you find out about the arraignment/indictment? Unless your butcher told you about it.
The news coverage on this is sparse. The guy murdered 3 police officers serving a warrant for domestic violence on 6-30-22 in what LE calls an ambush. That merits more coverage and facts.
That’s just it. I had to go looking for the video of his court date. The info coming forth has been spotty at best. You being from Tennessee I’m surprised you haven’t hear about it. It was HUGE when it happened a few weeks ago, and then nothing.
This happened in Allen, KY in the eastern part of the state. Lance Storz was the shooter who ambushed police serving a warrant. Then there’s a shoot out that lasts several hours, three cops and a K9 dead, several other cops injured and hundreds of first responders on scene. Then the press goes silent.
Looks like he had an 'accident' on the way to the klink.
Probably would have but I’m vacationing in Rhode Island currently. Yeah...long story. Don’t ask. Not my idea. But I’ll be back home in a couple of weeks.
The arresting officers went easy on him. He shouldn’t have been taken alive.
LOL...we won’t ask!
It’s like “I woke up after a wild night on the town with my underwear on backwards and my partial plate missing...don’t ask.”
2 trains of thought there.
I have family LEO, so I for one relish the thought of his being on the receiving end in prison pending execution.
You can’t murder a dog.
Yes they have the initial story but there is absolutely no follow up. We still don’t know why, how, who etc.
A Forgotten Feud of "Bloody" Breathitt County, Kentucky
Floyd Country, KY is not far from Breathitt County.
Yes I know. I knew and grew up with one of the murdered officers. I’m from a town called Martin, the next town over from Allen where the shooting took place. I’d know of bloody Breathitt.
Well...no. It was a conscious decision...I dunna wanna be here. Family obligations.
Understand completely. I used to live on the Navy Base in Newport back in the early Sixties-my dad was a Tin Can sailor back then.
I like to visit Newport, and a couple of other places, but by and large, the state doesn’t hold any attraction for me either. There is something I find vaguely depressing about it.
Yep. Compared to my area in TN...it looks like North Korea.
