LifeSite has published several articles and interviews referring to “mass formation” psychology facilitating the mindless acceptance of deadly COVID propaganda. This article and video provide perhaps the best and most practically useful summary of the phenomenon that we have seen to date. There is a great need for the informed to push back against this phenomenon and end its influence. The following paragraph is perhaps the most significant:
“The glimmer of hope is this: Everyone who has studied mass formation and totalitarianism has concluded that both are intrinsically self-destructive. They cannot survive. And, the more means it has at its disposal to control the population, the sooner it might destroy itself, because totalitarianism destroys the core of the human being.”
*“Mass formation” is a form of mass hypnosis that emerges when specific conditions are met, and almost always precede the rise of totalitarian systems.
*Four central conditions that need to exist in order for mass formation to arise are widespread loneliness and lack of social bonding, which leads to experiencing life as meaningless, which leads to widespread free-floating anxiety and discontent, which leads to widespread free-floating frustration and aggression, which results in feeling out of control.
*Under mass formation, a population enters a hypnotic-type trance that makes them willing to sacrifice anything, including their lives and their freedom.
*Key strategies to disrupt the mass formation process are to speak out against it and to practice non-violent resistance. Dissenting voices keep totalitarian systems from deteriorating into abject inhumanity where people are willing to commit heinous atrocities.
*Ultimately, “totalitarianism” refers to the ambition of the system. It wants to eliminate the ability of individual choice, and in so doing, it destroys the core of what it is to be human. The quicker a system destroys the individual, the sooner the system collapses.

.....what amazes me is that my GP (General Practioner, Doctor), a very smart man, seems to sincerely believe all the bullshit about masks.
I finally got my sister, an RN with 40 years experience, to wake up. She wishes she hadn’t got the jab now. I’m sure millions do. It simply was the biggest money making scheme by the pharmaceutical companies and politicians and the media in history.

Very true, and stupid seems to incapsulate all segments of society in every increasing numbers these days.
This scam was successful primarily because they were able to force doctors to go along with it, and most people trust their personal physicians. I expect many will be less trusting of them in the future.
This is so true and has been used by and on governments around the world with outstanding results. Our government has used this in dealing with other nations for many years to destabilize and conquer other nations.
Now, they’ve turned it inward on us! And it is working again.

But it's also about mindset.
As I wrote elsewhere, one of the most magnificent contemporary pieces was written by Jeffrey Snyder, A Nation of Cowards. While the piece is overtly about concealed carry, it is much broader than that. To wit:
Is your life worth protecting? If so, whose responsibility is it to protect it? If you believe that it is the police's, not only are you wrong -- since the courts universally rule that they have no legal obligation to do so -- but you face some difficult moral quandaries. How can you rightfully ask another human being to risk his life to protect yours, when you will assume no responsibility yourself?...One who values his life and takes seriously his responsibilities to his family and community will possess and cultivate the means of fighting back...He will never be content to rely solely on others for his safety, or to think he has done all that is possible by being aware of his surroundings and taking measures of avoidance.
What Snyder wrote applies literally to every situation under the sun, not just thieves in the night or bad dudes in an alley but bureaucrats in lab coats and college faculty in sport coats. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.
But for a moment, consider those recently redpilled, or liberals smacked by reality. Do they possess the mindset Snyder references? In the face of peer pressure, these mildly freedom-curious lot will give up; They'll cave.
For the redpilled, not only do they need the will to persevere through this peer pressure, but in many ways they need a robust pro-liberty mindset (or as a Diana calls it, a robust post-apocalyptic skill set) that is exercised often.
As the meme goes, one does not simply become Deplorable over night. Sure, it's easy to see the immorality of what's going on. It's also easy to say, for example, "no, I'm not getting vaxxed." But, as difficult as it may be for people who've had a Framer's mindset all their life, noobs don't just follow up that new attitude with the ninja-like thought process and access to information to facilitate a successful redpilling in an instant. That process takes some time.
Yes, there ARE many people - backed by friends with Snyder's mindset that's exercised often - who climbed through the muck and mire of the conversion process successfully. They observe a society where "Question Authority" has morphed into "Obey Authority" and advance past the pillar of salt.
For those noobs who haven't yet built a Snyder mind, we need to bring them into the fold. Liberty grows when the field of participants expands, not by shrinking ourselves to glory.
So many in (if not most) the medical profession have pushed this pandemic. Don’t know how to explain it. Can’t be profit driven as many of the socialist medical system countries did the same.
I think many in the medical field do not think for themselves as currently the majority are now employees.
Then there are all the older, frailer solid conservative that bought into the COVID propaganda. As many pointed out some were even Freepers.
The media is a powerful propaganda tool.
Same here. Doctors I know personally, as well, including a pediatrician who gave his child multiple covid vaccine shots notwithstanding the kid has an auto-immune disorder (and now, additional problems while waiting for the next booster).
People I respected. All in on masks and vaccine and endless boosters.
Got formerly healthy friends, in their twenties, with bleeding problems they didn't have before. Nosebleeds, intestinal bleeding, passing huge clots. Far as I know their doctors are just baffled as to what could be causing such problems.
Incidentally, these same agencies and Big Pharma are still ignoring the consequences of taking the injection
and have already authorized injections for healthy children, starting at age 6 years old, where there is little to next to no risk of disease.
There is no deception, ..only professional lies to increase and further enrichen Big Pharma.
Fear makes a lot of things happen!
I see plenty of them while sitting in my car in a parking lot, waiting for friends (because I'm one of the few in my circle who can still afford the bleeping gasoline).
Mostly older folks, who probably got the shot if they're that skittish about covid, yet they mask up even if nobody's anywhere near them. And my area is not a high risk place for covid.
Two major factors in how our brains work -
1. The perceptual inputs that go into the brain
2. The interpretive framework that CATEGORIZES the input
The entire problem is one of categorization. Input is categorized according to threat assessment. Once assessed as danger, the input is wired into survival reflexes and clung to like a baby monkey clinging to its mother’s fur.
The only way to break through the fear categorizations is with CURIOSITY. It is a natural human trait that basically created civilization, uplifted us from the status of beasts. We then must praise and worship CURIOSITY in all things and turn humanity into a CURIOUS species. There is noting to stop us from preaching curiosity from the pulpit, from the video blogs, from the political campaigns. This is the only way to create a fundamental cultural change in cognition that is positive, non polarizing and effective for everyone.
We have truth on our side. So hit the psycho-fascists with the one human characteristic that they have NO DEFENSE for.
