My (late) father was on the destroyer USS Perkins dd377 during the battle of Leyte Gulf.
Their lust for the blood of the innocent is sobering for our nation.
Those guys are probably the craziest warriors America ever produced. That was just insane on their part for a DE to attack a fleet of battleships. It was so insane the Japs were certain that they were the vanguard of something terrible and fled.
