Good news! I knew that it was coming.
See? The originalist Supreme Court justices are *not* involved in any conspiracy against us. They’re trying to do their job correctly to the letter and the best of their understanding.
Don’t listen to the chatter on the Net from foreign adversaries. The judicial activists are on the left, and they really try to do what big money tells them to do.
I think that goes both ways. The more the right pushing overturning RVW, the more abortions we see.

Yep.
“momentous” should be “monumental”, IMHO...
On the Federal level, the state law was not challenged in federal court because it was not federal law.
The Supreme Court ducked on this issue when they refused to enforce the Fourteenth Amendment, first in the Slaughterhouse cases, then in Presser in 1886.
This case started in a federal court in 2013, almost 9 years to the day ago.
I’m speculating of course, but can’t imagine 2013 was the first time ever this 110 year old law was challenged. 2022 is the first time ever the law has been been found unconstitutional.
OK, questions: Is New York’s gun law invalid as of the moment the decision was made public? Will New Jersey and other states that have required “proving a need to be armed” to obtain a permit be affected by the decision, or does each state have to be dragged kicking and screaming individually into constitutional behavior>
Trump did that !
Or the old dodge "Lacks standing" used to to decline to hear it.
Yeah!D
They’re unenforceable because of this high court precedent, but you’ll have to sue in each jurisdiction to establish that fact.
They were: California, Hawaii, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and Massachusetts.
It is difficult to see how those laws can stand any decent challenge.
bkmk
Thanks for posting this reality:
There are six states which were specifically mentioned as having the same unconstitutional basis for their gun laws.
They were: California, Hawaii, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and Massachusetts.
It is difficult to see how those laws can stand any decent challenge.
Apparently in Hawaii, a lot of people own unregistered guns and carry those weapons.
Yet, the death rate from guns is very low.
Nice summary!
What strikes me the most from the media and the Democrat responses is once again their inability to read and comprehend and then state the facts.
Instead we get hyperbole, lies, scare tactics i.e. this has unleased a wild west atmosphere and each dispute will be another shootout at the O.K. Corral.
We need to start with honestly, until we have that this country is going to continue to be a mess. And the dishonestly is most pronounced from the media/Dems.
Roe overruled!
I better get to that thread :)
