Queen Victoria would not always be considered the best symbol of genuine progress and democracy in every conversation.
But a half naked statue of her in Melbourne, Australia, serves as a reminder that many of the city's forebears were far more open minded than the narrow prudish leftist mob rule which persecutes some of the most talented men here now for their heterosexuality and other reasons such as refusing to be vaccinated and being a highly successful catholic leader.
A. Robert Doyle, the longest serving Mayor of Melbourne was driven from office by allegations, which he denied and which witnesses denied, that he put his hand on a woman's thigh and squeezed another woman's breast.
B. Football player Jordan De Goey (https://freedom-demokrasi-and-civilised-humanity.com/2022/06/20/aussie-freedom-fighters-5-jordan-de-goey/) has backed down a little from hos courageous stand last weekend.
C. Novak Djokovic (https://freedom-demokrasi-and-civilised-humanity.com/2022/01/10/the-false-imprisonment-of-novak-djokovic/)
D. Cardinal George Pell (https://freedom-demokrasi-and-civilised-humanity.com/2022/04/09/the-pell-case1-craig-kelly-speaks/)
At its worst, it is an unbelievable agony to live in Australia now.
When I look at that statue of Queen Victoria I yearn for better times.
Isn't she a wonderful sight to behold?
And that’s why I’m not king.
Because I don’t want half naked statues of me popping up everywhere after I’m gone.

She is regal, elegant and even formidable in this pose, but where is she ‘half naked’?
Not that I really want to know!
I wonder why the one named ‘Progress’ is the only nekkid one, and the others are all clothed.
(The statue appears to have ruined the sculptor’s reputation...)

Strange women putting up half naked statues is no basis for a system of government.
That’s not the one Oz is referring to.
Which half?
Oz..I would bet that if she ever would have saw that thing she would have gone bonkers.
She was a prude.
I don’t think she was a prude at all.
Her times played at being prudish, though.
One boob.
Here are all of them: History, Justice, Wisdom, and Progress. Have a thrill:

Father “Question Everything Son”
Son “Why?”
“Which half?”
Look and you shall see.
Er. No. Two exposed boobs, and one of those on a statue with a half arm. Not attractive at all.
True, but life is more interesting with watery tarts lobbing swords at people.
Looks like one on the ‘Progress’ statue that Oz featured, with thin fabric of her chiton covering the other.
(I think she’s missing a big toe, too...)
That's not the statue this article is referring to. The above is at Windsor Castle, England, where Queen Elizabeth now lives full time.
Here is the statue to which the article is referring, in Victoria Gardens, Melbourne, Australia:
The heroic figure at the top is a fully-robed Victoria at the height of her reign. It's unclear whether the four figures below are depict Victoria in various stages of her life, or are merely impersonal classical figures representing her virtues. The figure he is referring to seems to be the one on the right with a broken arm.
They represent History, Wisdom, Justice and Progress.
What if your were the “Father of our Country”?
