Something Strange Happened in Georgia: Vernon Jones Is Latest Trump-Endorsed Candidate to Lose Run-Off Election in Peach State — A Clean Sweep for Never-Trumpers
The Gateway Pundit ^ | June 21, 2022 | Jim Hoft

Raffesnperger won his primary with 52% of the vote to prevent a runoff.

Brian Kemp, who was booed at the state convention, surprisingly won his primary in Georgia after a rally with Mike Pence, by 74% to 22%.

And on Tuesday, popular conservative and Trump supporter Vernon Jones — who just months ago would receive a rock star’s welcome at rallies — lost to his opponent Mike Collins.

Vernon Jones lost his race 76% to 24%.

So Georgia was a clean sweep against President Trump and his supporters.

If we want to believe the numbers — Trump only has 24% support from the conservatives in the state.

Only 24% of Republicans in Georgia support President Donald Trump. That’s what we’re supposed to believe.

We know the machines they use, that Brad Raffensperger purchased, are able to be breached and manipulated. A recent government report confirmed this.

Kemp will need Trump’s endorsement to win in the general election

No, he doesn’t. The conservatives will vote for him because he is conservative and hasn’t done anything to tick off the base. The business community likes him. Standing up to Trump helps him with wishy washy white suburban women.
I respect Kemp. He opened up GA for business during Covid very early and against great pressure not to do so. I know this may shock some FReepers but voters on our side can make up their own minds. Trump’s endorsement is strongest in races where voters aren’t as informed.

Not really. Have you looked at Georgia’s demographics lately?? It is filled with transplants from libtard states and lots of international transplants around Atlanta. They are very rapidly turning the state Democrat.

End runoffs too. Constant do overs, often won by the bad guys like Murkowski.

Yes. Dominion.

Kemp and Raffensperger probably have hefty troves of $$$ in offshore accounts, compliments of Dominion and China.

Is that how it’s going to be from now on? Your candidate loses so it must be rigged? Pathetic.

When Kemp wins in a blowout, these people will never forgive Stacy Abrams for not stealing the election like they promised she would.

You have open primaries in GA, so Democrats were voting for Republicans in this primary. They will not be voting for Kemp in the general, however. Many conservatives will not vote for this guy because he is obviously not trustworthy since he definitely helped create the mess that we have in this country right now (same with Raffensberger, BTW). He will need all the positive mojo he can get, with the most mojo coming from a Trump endorsement - there is no one else in the GOP that can provide that push, but it is questionable as to whether Trump will provide that endorsement (for obvious reasons).

“””There is a big cross over by Democrats into Republican primaries.”””

That seems to be a logical reason for these GA GOP Primary results.

The GOP leadership in several southern states are very reluctant to get rid of the ‘open primary’ system.

I don’t get it except Georgia is overrun with outsiders

FL is overrun with outsiders. Yet, they've got the best governor.

The cheaters in GA served notice in 2020. There is not reason to think that they aren't still cheating.

Georgia GOPe is still like Mississippi during Haley Barbour and Thad Cochran

Remember how that went

Georgia is much more invaded than Mississippi is

Whites in Mississippi know they have to get right

Or they become Jackson

So 90% plus vote Trump

I think Florida later old people move ins have been more conservative voting than the post WWII was

Less Jewish and union tyoes

Why are you so optimistic that Kemp will easily beat Stacy Abrams? She looks like the anointed for at least governor by the Left and Republicans who are afraid to fight.

He beat her once in a blue-wave election, he has the power of incumbency, he's been a competent governor, and he's a solid conservative.

And Georgia Republicans don't seem to be in a mood for Trump's antics in the state after he cost them two senate seats. Notice they pretty much said "No!" to all of his picks (except for Herschel Walker, who will be soundly beaten by Raphael Warnock).

Yes— with some history of odd behaviour. Collins has a trucking firm he built up to 115 interstate truck routes in his line. So— watching the voting Dominion machines he has organized in all 18 counties in his District. They are going to catch “Tabitha’s” people stuffing the “dropboxes”, as in — the 2000 mules monitoring and aid of law enforcement.

Including the “oil patch” (raised in Dubai- no less) idiot Eric Erickson— the blabbing never Trump silver spoon in his mouth company man with... no Company. A real yakker and full of crap manipulator.

Desantis is Politico’s choice— and uh... he has far more power where he is... helping Trump make America more like FLORIDA! The Politico types are once again shilling for the Bushies, and all the other RINO frauds who side with Liz Cheney. We can name every one of them.

Precisely— a State which does NOT have Closed Party only Primaries. FL for example does have closed primaries- No crossing over allowed.
