Lucas has just turned 4 years old, and Buzz Lightyear is his favorite character. He has the action figure, Santa brought him the space man’s costume, and he doesn’t sleep the same if he’s not wearing the pajamas sporting Woody’s friend.
When his father says, “To infinity and beyond!” Lucas always smiles. His favorite Friday plan is to sit with his father and siblings and watch one of the four Toy Story movies; he already knows them by heart, but he can’t get enough.
Ever since he learned that Buzz’s solo movie was going to be released, he’s been waiting anxiously for his father to keep his promise to take him to enjoy the next appearance of the character he loves most.

Disney? kids ? No way
I’d buy them cigarettes first

VEry much so. She is a tough cookie!
He does not make the decisions in the family.
If he does then they have a much worse problem then the movies they watch.
Needless to say....
“That person’s comment makes no sense.”
Really. Bafflegab.
I’m probably one of the few people who never has seen an animated movie in my life.
We couldn’t go to movies growing up. (Baptist preacher’s kids)
Never had kids so never had to take them to movies.
If they’re on TV I don’t watch because ... why would I? They’re cartoons and I’m an adult.
“Satan quoted scripture when tempting Christ.”
That exact thought came to mind when Pence’s assistant was testifying at the Jan. 6 Committee. He invoked the Book of Daniel in the Bible, trying to act all spiritual by flaunting his alleged knowledge of Scripture. I’m thinking, “Yeah. Satan did that, too.”
We’ve been watching re-runs of Adam 12, and it’s refreshing. More blue eyes than brown. Even the bad guys are white.
That entire segment of the feature, with no dialog, tells a true love story. One with its ups and downs, happy and sad. While watching it, when the loss scene played, my wife and I were already holding hands (as we quiet often do)... Both of us gripped the other’s hand a little tighter and looked into each other’s eyes that were glistening with tears. We knew that feeling. But we got through it, mainly because we knew by then we were meant to go another route, and that “other route” was sitting by my wife in the other seat... A beautiful blond haired, blue-eyed five year old that we adopted at birth via private placement. I know in my heart that he is right where God meant for him to be. He is now a hunky looking 17 year old (think Jan Michael Vincent in the mid 1970s, with hair like Prince Charming’s from “Shreck”) that scored a composite 35 out of a possible 36 on his ACT (aced the science and math portions) and wants to be a surgeon... He’ll make it, too...
Good to hear
A priest replied and set that writer straight.
2 lesbians get married, and one gets pregnant? Oh, yes, let’s confuse a generation of children.
Are they censoring the movie, or are they banning it?
She needs to examine her parenting technique.
Are you sure Tim Allen didn’t refuse to be affiliated with the perversion pushers?
OMG, Babylon Bee sure knows how to hit the mark.
That's a great point, and I hadn't thought that could be the reason. I just did a search, and this is what The New York Post wrote about it:
Why Disney passed on Tim Allen in ‘Lightyear’: He’s ‘dumber’ not ‘castrated’
I couldn't find anything via a search that suggested Allen had turned the role down, but I'm sure he's happy now that he had no part of it.
The true Walt Disney is a great asset to society. There are several essential WD: Snow White, Bambi, Dumbo, Cinderella, and Lady & the Tramp.
I watch them because I often enjoy child-like moral stories, but too often todays movies and animated features (and TV shows) are childISH, for immature adults who behave like the worst of children.
Buzz is a groomer?
You’re paying your for your tickets and encouraging Disney to produce films at odds with Christian values whether you’re in front of the screen for that scene or not.
