Why do people who spend all their time teaching that America is a country founded to preserve racism and that it's still a racist, sexist, homophobic country honor those who died for the country?
Barack Hussein didn’t even know what Memorial Day is when he was being run for the highest office in the land.
I can tell you this- they’ve done a great job destroying the National Memorial Day concert on the west lawn of the Capitol, presently on now. It used to be a great show. Looks as though they limited the crowd to a fraction of what it used to be
They don’t.
Also, having worn the uniform, I’m a little tired of mushing the three military days together.
I’m watching the National Memorial Day concert. Why can’t anyone just sing the National Anthem without trying to “improve” it?
I’m alway s for honoring the troops. I wore the uniform myself, so I get it. But as I noted last week, there are different days for different troops.
Last Saturday was Armed Forces Day. That’s the day to honor those in uniform today.
Tomorrow is Memorial Day, honoring those who gave their lives for our country.
Veterans Day is the day to honor those of us who have served in the past.
Each one is important in its own right. We have a tendency to mash them together. Let’s take time to honor all three days.

What’s worse than war? A war you have no intention or plan to win.
This particular segment (the family of a soldier who was killed) has me on the verge of tears, talking about lost loved ones.
As always when they do the service medley, they saved the best for last. :)
