After it was revealed on Thursday that not only did police delay their response to sending tactical teams into the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Tex. amid a school shooting that left 19 children and two teachers dead but prevented parents from entering, the Wall Street Journal reported that one mother sprinted into the school to get her children, over objections from law enforcement.
Angeli Rose Gomez drove 40 miles to the school upon hearing of the shooting, and she arrived, said "The police were doing nothing. They were just standing outside the fence. They weren't going in there or running anywhere."

I don’t need to, because we know that he didn’t come out and shoot more children. He shot the children in one classroom, and this mother’s children were obviously not in that classroom. So it’s incorrect to say that she “saved” them.

What do you expect? Panic stricken parents who have no knowledge on how deal with this once in a lifetime event in a school where their children are being killed.
If my kid was in there and I saw the police doing nothing, they would have to shoot me in the back to stop me from running into the school. Maybe that is just what most parents would do.
The cops have lots of questions to be answered. Hope this happens soon and the cops are 100% honest in their answers.
Wait for the final investigative report for that, since you believe your eyes lie to you from the videos and pictures and news accounts.

It is definitely a recurring pattern of political leaders telling cops to stand down and not to interfere with mass shooters.
Once the grieving is over, I would not be surprised to hear about lawsuits filed against the school officials, the governor, and everyone in between.
LOL! The “well-equipped” LEOs sure didn’t know what to do. Were they panic-stricken, or bemused, or simply looking for donuts?
[FYI, out of curiosity I clicked on the link to see how much the body armor set would cost (~1300) and how soon you could get it (ETA Jun. 24 - Jul. 3).
So again, I find it extremely odd that both the shooters had body armor.

Overnight is apparently available for a few hundred bucks. My guess is they had been doing eeny meeny miny moe calculations for a while, spanning perhaps weeks, months or even years. And that’s understandable. In real life, as opposed to a video game, you only get one life. They planned their actions the way an assassin might, subject to the same doubts and fears. Except assassins don’t target random people.
