After it was revealed on Thursday that not only did police delay their response to sending tactical teams into the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Tex. amid a school shooting that left 19 children and two teachers dead but prevented parents from entering, the Wall Street Journal reported that one mother sprinted into the school to get her children, over objections from law enforcement.
Angeli Rose Gomez drove 40 miles to the school upon hearing of the shooting, and she arrived, said "The police were doing nothing. They were just standing outside the fence. They weren't going in there or running anywhere."

I hope the parents sue the shite out of all involved.
This is just ridiculous.
Didn’t read anything about federal marshals.
Clickbait,
You underestimate mamas!
And yes! Soccer moms sure beat cops standing around with fingers up their bums letting kids get slaughtered and bleed out.
disgusting but also they are damned lucky ti wasn’t the wrong parent.
My child’s life is at risk like this and anyone -—cops included-who get between me and them become a target
every one of these guys should be so ashamed they can’t live with themselves.
He stole the truck from his gma after he shot het
Cell phone footage from the scene. There were two US marshals that I saw along with local police, sheriff in tactical gear, state troopers vehicle are shown at the end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyXtymq-A6w
There was no shortage of LEO manpower to go in after the shooter. Just a lack of will or lack of someone of rank to tell them to do so I guess.
No, I think it's pure speculation and unfounded accusations at this point.
My grandfather always said: "never jump to conclusions if there is a cliff in front of you or if there is a rope around your neck that's tied to a tree."
I prefer to wait until the final investigative report is issued before I make any judgment calls....
But then again, I'm in no position to make any judgment since I wasn't there in the presence of an armed mass murderer.
And she would do it again !
That’s pretty much where I am. I’m taking names of anyone trying to stop me from saving my own child, and others. There will helltopay later. I’ve done citizen arrests before when the Blue wasn’t around. Sometimes you have to step up.
The real Texas Rangers, not the baseball team.
No I think LEO's leading parents into the fray would be the honorable way for them to act. We have seen the cowardly LEO's stand outside the perimeter more times than I want to recall. I certainly wouldn't want to depend on them in a battle. As I understand it the people that took him out were Border Patrol not LEO's.
6+ minutes of cell phone video will give you an idea of how many LEOs were there. Local PD, sheriff deputies, state troopers and US marshals.

So you also don’t believe kids and teachers were killed and a murderer was, too, because there has yet to be a “final investigative report,” I presume?
You also can’t confirm what you had to eat this morning, because that report will likely never come.
Shotguns would not have been a good choice with kids and all. Need AR’s to target only the bad guy. The issue with tactical teams is most cops are not trained to that level, usually need to be SWAT for that. The street beat guy is lucky to get to the range for training a couple of times a year. That all said, if you choose the profession of a protector, and you are taking a paycheck for that, then STEP UP. We have known since Columbine that you don’t wait outside.
In remember so well the cowardly cops hunkering behind a fire truck as the fireman drove into the zone with nothing shielding him but a giant windshield. Cowards every one of them.
So what happened?
LEOs waited around for a half hour listening to shots?
The Border Patrol and locals had a thirty minute gun duel with the shooter?
For thirty minutes after the shooting ended, the locals, BP, S&R were busy formulating their attack?
This explanation is as clear as mud.
So again, I find it extremely odd that both the shooters had body armor.
I would really like to know when they bought their weapons ...
“Once freed from her cuffs, Ms. Gomez made her distance from the crowd, jumped the school fence, and ran inside to grab her two children. She sprinted out of the school with them.”
“Salvador Ramos worked at Wendy’s.
he’s 18 years old and has 5k worth of weapons and drives 75k pickup truck ?
unless his family is wealthy, there’s a disconnect here...”
So six minutes of cell video tells the entire story of what went down before, during and after. Got it.....
I could not care less of what 6 minutes of cell phone video shows.
As I said, I'll wait till the final report comes out. But thanks for your information.
