I have been wondering for quite a while about the absence of Mark Steyn on the Tucker Carlson show. I always made it a point to watch him on his regular Thursday evening visit. Does anyone know why he isn't on the show any longer?
Yes.
Would you be so kind as to share?

He’s got a gig on a British news channel. Anchor gig.
Are you logged in?
He’s on 77 WABC radio with Bo Snerdley at 4pm est today (right now).
I sure miss him as guest host on Rush’s show. He used to write a LOT more commentary than he is doing these days, too.
He’s never been busier steynonline.com
Although there is a club fee, all the content is free. He’s gone back to being mostly British though. The panel at his website lets you play back his full hour show from GB news.
He probably said something that Tucker’s paymasters at Fox didn’t like.
He has a show on Monday through Thursday on GBnews at 8pm BT or 3pm Eastern. You can watch it on YouTube. He also calls into James Golden aka Bo Snerdley each Tuesday. That show is on Wabc radio New York at 4pm ET.
NO
I never understood why he has a British accent when he’s Canadian.
My information is not that reliable but I’m hearing that Mark joined a bowling league that gets together on Thursday nights. This would explain his absence from the show. Once his team is eliminated from the playoffs (middle of June), he should be able to get back on the show.
Educated in the UK from a young age.

So that’s how he spends his spare time.
Mark Steyn has a British accent because he went to school in the UK and spent more time there than in Canada during his youth. He now lives in New Hampshire. He is of course well regarded by Canadian conservatives but we tend to think of him as a global citizen sort of conservative and not a Canadian at this point. He was instrumental in the fight to keep human rights legislation in Canada within certain boundaries that have been continuously tested and pushed back and forth over the past two decades. This got him into hot water with the human rights tribunals in several provinces and federally, but he ended up being vindicated at least here in British Columbia where his articles in Macleans Magazine were being sued by Muslim clerics; he had the support of a wide array of libertarians across the political spectrum and was not found liable. Next to Rush Limbaugh I used to think of him as the second most reliable “big name” conservative we had before Rush passed and now it’s mainly himself and Tucker Carlson nowadays. There was an Ann somebody or other and Glen what’s his name, well nuff said.
