The Bizarre, Unanimous Dem Support for the $40b War Package to Raytheon and CIA: "For Ukraine"
Greenwald ^ | 5/14/2022 | Glen Greenwald

Video Transcript: "The US Anti-War Left is Dead. The Squad's $40b War Vote Just Killed It." Many Dems voting YES have long denounced exactly these sorts of bills. What happened? May 14, 2022

After Joe Biden announced his extraordinary request for $33 billion more for the war in Ukraine — on top of the $14 billion the U.S. has already spent just ten weeks into this war — congressional leaders of both parties immediately decided the amount was insufficient. They arbitrarily increased the amount by $7 billion to a total of $40 billion, then fast-tracked the bill for immediate approval. As we reported on Tuesday night, the House overwhelmingly voted to approve the bill by a vote of 388-57. All fifty-seven NO votes came from Republican House members. Except for two missing members, all House Democrats — every last one, including all six members of the revolutionary, subversive Squad — voted for this gigantic war package, one of the largest the U.S. has spent at once in decades.

While a small portion of these funds will go to humanitarian aid for Ukraine, the vast majority will go into the coffers of weapons manufacturers such as Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Boeing and the usual suspects. Some of it will go to the CIA for unspecified reasons. The extreme speed with which this was all approved means there is little to no oversight over how the funds will be spent, who will profit and how much, and what the effects will be for Ukraine and the world.

People in DC need to think of what Russia can do that will harm the US economy and not result in a US military response.

I can’t post possibilities online, but they exist.

Yeah, but FR’s many Neo-Cons and Soros trolls are thrilled.

It is flat-out amazing how fast the neoisolationists and the Russophiles amongst us snap their predictable responses.

Is it possible that the money to the defense contractors is for the production of new antitank missiles to replace those that we have expended and ramping up R&D in the next generation? How about the expansion of our intel capabilities in light of our current successes in targeting?

We have a very critical part in this more-or-less stable world we have evolved, the best defense has always been our alliances and the tactical/technological steps ahead of our potential adversaries. At this moment, we see the effects of using only precision weapons, really accurate target location, and allies willing to resist against a modern invader.

Everybody in the world is watching and the really dangerous ones - like China and Iran - are paying very close attention and likely revising plans because of what's happening to the Russian forces.

The best way to preserve our freedom and keep our enemies behaving is exactly what's happening today in Ukraine.

I figured that the military equipment, CIA mercenaries, US satellite information, re-arming NATO nations to replace equipment given to Ukraine as well as integrations of equipment, upgrading drone systems and anti drone systems is probably where they get the 40 million.

Realistically, the US military needs to adapt quickly because you can bet your future China is learning.

The real problem is that the expect the people to pay for the war, the fentanyl overdoses, the illegals, the 40% not working, the 80% of kids born on assistance, the multimillionaire Washington people fed by government kickbacks, government unions, Allied who won’t spend on their military, AND the Democratic Party profiteering from the Green new deal as well as possible reparations for slaves I never owned or profited from.

Just saying………

Seemingly overnight, the left becomes pro war and the right becomes anti war.

From the article:

“no oversight over how the funds will be spent, who will profit and how much”

Oh, I think we all know who will profit.

Both liberals and Putin lust for power, and both of whom censor dissent, and thus the former support Ukraine against Putin, while a certain brand of (likely libertarian) conservatives support Putin since he opposes liberals. Yet in reality he would shutdown FR as he has forbade all sharing of faith aside from sanction by his state church supporter - which the Left wants to do (secular - and threatens to nuke all the West our of his lust for power.

Yet at one time Russia could have made NATO unwarranted but Clinton as well as internal corruption vs. Christ, prevailed.

To be pro-God/Christ and pro-America is to oppose both, and be persecuted by both, as well as pro-Putin anti-Christ conservatives.

The problem is a nation with a 30 trillion debt cannot spend money like it is water. But that is according to plan, in which, having made people increasingly dependent upon the government, and which fosters shortages, then the time will come when rationing is the instituted, and with PC ideological conformity being rewarded. Leading to the Mark.

Now we have reports of Chinese a swarm of drones autonomously track a human through a dense forest, which the Bee could use for a story of the Left using such to identify dissidents. Of course, the promotion of WOKEism works to do that.

The deficit (30.4+ trillion) and unfunded liabilities (169+ trillion) (combined) are just shy of 200 trillion dollars total.

I’m sure this will end well. /s

All true: which mean that while preparing and adapting forces for our defense is critical, the Swamp (Democrats and Assistant Democrats) need to be removed from power.
