On May 9th, Russia may upgrade Ukraine Invasion to All Out War - Report

Recent reports claim that Russian President Vladimir Putin may officially declare war with Ukraine as early as next Monday. Russia is currently referring to the invasion as a special military operation. Officially declaring war would, under Russian law, allow for the full mobilization of Russia’s reserve forces and the drafting of conscripts.

“I think he will try to move from his ‘special operation,'” British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace told LBC Radio last week. “He’s been rolling the pitch, laying the ground for being able to say, ‘look, this is now a war against Nazis, and what I need is more people. I need more Russian cannon fodder.'”

According to NATO, western intelligence agencies have estimated Russia’s losses since the February 24th invasion to be at least 7,000 dead, with the US estimating some 10,000 Russian soldiers dead and the UK putting the number at 15,000.

Wallace added that he “would not be surprised, and I don’t have any information about this, that he is probably going to declare on this May Day that ‘we are now at war with the world’s Nazis and we need to mass mobilize the Russian people.'”

“On May 9th, Russia may upgrade Ukraine Invasion to All Out War”

Entirely possible. Belarus is moving their forces around right now under the guise of ‘war games’ (where have we seen that before?). They may well be preparing to invade western Ukraine in order to cut off the Ukrainians from western supplies.

If that happens the odds of NATO and Belarus exchanging shots is very, very high. The close proximity affords no end of opportunity for bad things to happen.

On the reverse of Belarus invading Ukraine they’ll run headlong into the most concentrated and best armed Ukrainian forces. It may end up being a slaughter for the Belarussians given their Soviet tactics and less-than optimal Soviet-era weaponry.

“Belarus is moving their forces around right now under the guise of ‘war games’ (where have we seen that before?). “

Before Belarus did this, Poland announced war games and moved huge numbers of tanks towards Belarus border... Romania also announced war games and moving huge amount of stuff to east

Russian Head of State Duma Volodin:

“There will be no mobilization in Russia... Only around 1/5 to 1/4 of Russia’a active duty personnel is currently in Ukraine...”

Exactly. Complete fabrication. We’ve been hearing “Russian forces will collapse in two weeks” for months now.

Putin won’t mobilize the mall rats tick-tockers in Moscow and St Petersburg since it won’t work politically.

But he is already making preparations to mobilize the kids in the Russian border regions in Begorod, Voroezh and Kursk.

Russian parents in those regions are panicking already and trying to send their kids east before conscription officially starts.

That would be a special special military operation.

Poland doesn’t have ‘huge numbers’ of tanks. They have about 800 right now after giving about 200 tanks to the Ukrainians.

They’ve ordered 250 M-1 Abrams from the USA and it’s currently unclear if these will be new tanks or if Poland will merely take ownership of the 250 US Army M-1 tanks currently forward deployed and stored in Poland.

And they’ll fail at that level, too.

“...full mobilization of Russia’s reserve forces and the drafting of conscripts.”

Aren’t the current conscripts hesitating or deserting? And the Asov-nazis shooting them?

That’s called “just making chit up”.

I don’t believe anything from anyone, us included. We’re slowly getting sucked into this European War, and Boots On The Ground shouldn’t be in-play, dammit.

I’m from Ukraine and have family in Kiev. Russian army got their asses handed to them in the North. Not a single one entered Kiev and all tucked tail weeks ago. People are living normally and working in most of Ukraine except for the southeast. Utter failure of an “invasion”.

Russians cant move a inch beyond ~50 miles from the border or coast. That’s where majority Russians already lived and these lands were a given.

They’re not going an inch further with conventional tactics and would have to be total morons to use WMD. The leaves are coming out and it’s too late for them. Guns and rockets are behind every single blade that will eat whatever is left of these poor souls.

For their own sake I hope they quit or rebel against the morons that sent them to fight their own brothers...

Yeah, all thanks to U.S. aid and advanced weaponry.

Plus Russian incompetence/corruption and the balls, strength and determination of the Ukrainian people.

Even without any help, the Ukrainian insurgency would have made Afghanistan look like walk in the park until Russia went bankrupt once again. US help simply accelerated the inevitable and saved lives.

Russians don’t really want to fight this war and know it is full idiocy. They are forced into it at gunpoint while Ukrainians are determined to fight for their homes
