A bit of foreshadowing, perhaps? Big Tech behemoth Amazon reportedly announced it would dole out big money to reimburse employees who travel for treatments including abortions. The news dropped just one day before Politico shared a leaked U.S. Supreme Court draft opinion revealing SCOTUS is expected to overturn the notorious 1973 Roe v. Wade decision.

Do they do this for any other medical condition where treatment is not available locally. If not, employees should sue them out of existence for discrimination.

Dang it! This will lead me to cancel my Amazon account. I have boycotted so many companies and this was my last hold out because I’m using them the way they use me.
Get real, this is no different than any other difference in medical benefits between employers. The alternative is socialized medicine where everyone gets the exact same thing - is that what you want?

I am wondering ... is there cap? More than half of women who have abortions will have 2 or more abortions. If a woman needs to utilize Amazons “charity” like 5 times in 2 years...do they finally turn her down at some point?

Since the abortion pills are now so handy, this is merely a sick exploitation of the issue by Amazon. A cab ride to a pharmacy does not cost 4 grand. The prescription for the pills is write-able by any licensed physician and probably the pills can be dispensed by a PA at a docs office or even at the school principle’s office.
