A prime suspect but let’s not convict her without something more substantially damning. The left likes to circulate talking points to convict and crucify without facts....Russiagate. Let us not be like the rats.

I can certainly stand to be educated on the issue but I was under the impression that Julian Assange hacked into the government servers to get the documents. He was not a government employee and as such broke the law by illegally accessing the information.

In this case if leaked from inside the court, the person who leaked the info was legally allowed to access the information.

This is certainly a difference with distinction.

What my question is was Assange in possession of documents he had legal access to? This question I do not know the answer.

That’s a good argument for getting the final opinion out quickly.

I wonder if we’ll ever find out who did it. Democrats would love to keep it hush hush - unless it’s a republican, of course. Then, it’s insurrection!

Could be more than one person.

It could be the White House. The timing gave the press an excuse to not cover the Disinformation Dept. When Biden said he hadn't read the decision, I began to have my doubts.

Most likely it’s a clerk. Justices are more circumspect, and if Breyer is bitter it may be at the people who pushed him out.

They all went to Yale or Harvard (or Chicago or Stanford or, more rarely, Michigan or Pennsylvania).

The Republicans, especially Thomas and Barrett, take from other schools. The Democrats don't.

I’m not sure what you mean by ‘pushed out’. The story I’ve heard is that he’d planned on announcing retirement at the end of the current session - they don’t do this in the midst of one. And then someone let go with the news.

I think you and I are of the same mind when it comes to the so called “elite schools”. I have to admit, I went to Michigan. When I was in high school, Michigan State was just “Cow College” and the real brainiacs went to Michigan. But over the years, it became apparent to me that people that went to colleges I never heard of knew just as much if not more than I did. Then I retired a few years ago and got involved with the Master Gardener program in North Carolina, which is run primarily through NC State. This has opened my eyes to the fundamental and practical good that these land grant colleges do. Sure, they have lunatics in their faculty, but most of them are focused on things like clean water and food and sanitation and shelter. OTOH the elites spent their time arguing about who owes what to who. I think if we could avoid have another Ivy Leaguer in the SC for 100 years, we might actually survive as a nation.

Btw even Cornell (which is Ivy League) has an excellent agriculture school.

I bet they even figured out that cows and sheep don’t have fifty seven genders.

I think Cornell is a kind of hybrid private/land grant university:

“Cornell University is a private Ivy League and statutory land-grant research university” Wikipedia

I think I know what side the ag school is on. ;-)

Regardless of what you may think of her, there is no proof in Chamberlain’s tweet that she is the person who leaked the draft.

This stuff is dangerous.

Maybe Breyer didn’t want to go. He decided he’d have to step down, but then Team Biden jumps the gun with the announcement. Breyer might be irritated about that. In any case, I don’t think he’s the leak. If it’s a justice that leaked it’s a much, much bigger deal than if it’s a clerk.
