"I'm gonna get me a white boy wearing a light-blue sweater..."
Is he talking about Bill Gates...? O.o We'll never know because exit stage left.
It’s still funny, you just couldn’t do it the other way around.
The humor hasnt changed much...its just now its not fiction
Nothing like the Richard Pryor/Chevy Chase Word Association skit.

That would be Mr. Rogers.
The only funny black comedians that I can remember on SNL were Eddy Murphy and Kenan Thompson.
A lot of humor today is simply “Republicans are stupid” and “White people are stupid”. You don’t need a build up or a punchline. People are aware of what they are supposed to laugh at, and they comply.
It’s humor when it’s killing Whitey. When Whitey says that he has to protect himself from this, Whitey is condemned as a racist.
I’ve seen the opening of a couple of SNL episodes recently and the jokes are about Fox News, Trump, and assorted Republicans. It’s state comedy. We have a president destroying the country in 15 months, multiple crises, stumbling on his words, looking lost, falling up stairs and all the jokes are about Republicans. Remember how much mileage Chevy Chase got out of Ford being a klutz for a fall nowhere near as bad as Biden’s airplane escapade?

You know whats sad? Some of my favorite audio gigs in the entertainment industry were in the college circuit touring with comedians—late 70’s-mid 80’s. It used to be a very busy and great paying circuit which helped launch many well known comics as well as provided a good living established artists. Thanks to our liberal brothers and sisters, that whole circuit is completely gone. You will be lucky if you ever find any type of comedian touring colleges these days. It’s quite sad to those of use who admired the art those folks entertained us with.
These campuses have turned their populations into a bunch of wusses who are unable to laugh at their past, their mistakes, and themselves, people who are so easily offended and hurt that they can barely function in the real world.
that time of the month?...
